I don't know why people believe in them without proof . I have heard people say there must be life out there. But if there is life out in space. Why have we got no sign of it? There could be millions of of planets out there with life on them. Witch means some could be millions of years a head in technology. simply saying " Bu Bu teh galaxy is so big" does not cut it if they master space travel . They could have the power to bend space and time if they are so advanced .

We have been watching outter space for 1000s of years and have been looking for radio waves for over 40 years and all we have got back from space is silence . There is no life out there we are the only ones .

B) Define mastering space travel.. Because as it stands, going at the speed of light is too slow to get any where.. It would take 1000 years to even traverse 1% across our galaxy alone.. The force of going those speeds and hitting something like a baseball would hit with the force of a nuclear bomb, destroying the ship completely..

C) 99% of the time was with technology that could barely check out our local solar system neighborhood.. Radio transmissions were released at some 75 years ago.. Suggesting that it moved in a straight line and close to the speed of light.. It only went 75 light years.. Thats not even .1% the distance across our galaxy.

D) Life may be near by and be far more primitive then us.. Meaning they don't have the technology to ever realize it..

Speaking of aliens I had to watch the movie "Contact" today for one of my classes. Had some terrible acting but from what I have read online, people that have read the book say the movie is better than the book. The book must be even more abysmal. The concept was interesting for the movie but I think these hardcore scientists that specialize into finding intelligent ET's need to get a life, like Dr. Arroway.:lol:

If you puy a cell phone on the moon it would be one of the loudest things in the galaxy. If There is super advanced life then they would be very loud .

The speed of light is what we think is the limit . Maybe they could bend space to travel massive distance. We have no idea what kind of technology they could have .

Wrong on that one, the science communites best candidate for life in the solar system has been Europa, in which they believe a ocean flows under the glacier sheet of ice at the surface.. And no technology does not overcome anything.. If we had a rock pile meteor of significant size, we would not be able to stop it and all die.. We sure as hell couldn't overcome a gamma ray burst of immense proportions hitting our atmosphere.. Technology does not overcome everything, we are small and trivial to the entire universe, and we will not be noticed when the human race dies out.

What they are saying have not been even close to be proved. Just because life can Handel the waters of the south pole to the sandy hills of egpyt does not mean we will find life . Maybe there could be gas animals on neptune. But i am not going to act like they are real for no reason . If they are so sure about life being every where then advanced life should not be hard to find. Many planets could only be a few light years away. Why have we heard nothing?

:| I just got done explaining to you that the universe is so vast that we may never find intelligent life or life of any kind outside of the solar system. Due tot eh limits of our technology and the speed of light.. We only have a handful of stars relatively near us. That hardly means there is a good chance when there are countless planets out there..

They are not really one in the same.. The Big Bang Theoryis just the event that formed our galaxy the way it is today.. The matter existed before the Big Bang and scientists have no clue what occured before this.
