[QUOTE="soldine"] Why are you not privy to naming your company online? because it doesn't exist? Unless you work for the government, and clearly you dont because you just stated you work for a company, theres no reason you cant tell me the name of the company. LOOOOOL at a spaceship being controllable, as if its like a sports car. You can tmove at mach 6 and turn on ninety degree angles every few meters, sorry.soldine

I will not because its not better than me listing my name and adress online. and being that I have a real job i dont like those peices of identifying information on the internet for the exploit of others. and if your curious. commercial companys do work with the government all the time. infact i was doing work for a government project last week. so there is my reason. take it or leave it.

youve plainly said you do not know the capabilities of advanced vehicles then laugh when i make a factual claim of their capabilities. takes 3 minutes and 180 miles to do a 180 turn travelling with the vehicle i worked on. if youre wondering. but like anything prespective is everything. 90 degrees from one point of view are mellow curves from another. sports cars dont have **** for handling when compared to advanced aerospace vehicles. you ever see an F-22 pull a damn near 90 degree take off with afterburners on up close? cause i have.

and one more point, your agument that they cant turn like sports cars is fallacious, not only did i ever mention sports car handling, we never even used sports cars as a point of reference.

please. go to college

Ill leave it, theres nothing private about a company you work for and is vastly different from your personal information. Company name please. And clearly you dont know what your talking about, taking off at ninety degrees is going strait up, TURNING at ninety degrees is vastly different. All your other arguments are sportscars vs spaceships...

its my private information. do you understand that. my name can be found through my account. that lease who do you work for and where are they located. thats way more of my personal information that any random tard on the internet should be allowed to know. i gave you enough information to find the company yourself with a single search. further more. PULL a damn near 90 degree take off. you know what that means? pull in the controls. pull up pull up pull up. just off the runway with nose straight to the air before even reaching the fence.

YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT AND HAVE ADMITIED TO IT.

and christ, stop being so thick. you made an argument using sports cars a a comparisson to spacevehicles, you made that comparrison not me.

EDIT: i also made a mistake earlier. x-51 had the longest sustained hypersonic flight. x-43 had the fastest at mach 9.8

Links are coming to other guy, must counter this first... You still havent explained ho such a big company is private and people cant know about it. So, "your" vehicles take off strait up, do they then proceed to turn at ninety degree angles ( which is impossible for engines only facing one direction). WHEN DID I ADMIT TO IT DURRRRRRRRRRR. I said AS IF they were the same, I didnt compare them, that was the POINT.

your admittace to lack of knowledge in the subject area: 'And no, just how fast, can you make things move buddy?' I explained it was for my own personal reasons to remain private. do you want my social security and adress too?

i said they are the largest commecial sattelite company in the world, they are not the company that is private. i am as a human being remaining private on my personal details who i work for and where i work are private details of my life. if youve ever held a job you would know that. i gave you enough information to find the name on your own. if you are too inept to use google than so be it.

no they didnt. cause they were training. not goofing around. physically a 90 degree turn can be made. but it takes a lot of energy and the human body cannot stand the G load of such aturn at high speed. fighter planes are designed to be unstable so that the maneuverablity at high speed can be far more precise and quick as this maneuvers stabilize an non stable system in steady flight.

aaaaaaaaaand THRUST VECTORING. blam. move that thrust vector all over the place. also a stall is a night way to flip your plane of and head in another direction quickly (though only works vertically)

again. go to college and you can learn all about these things

So what we've learned today is that most of OT is comprised of people who dismiss the eyewitness testimony of people far more knowledgeable and credible in the area of flying objects than themselves, and then say that I and other UFO/alien believers are nutjobs. People who will search out any type of argument they can to try to disprove or dispute something that they themselves have never actually experienced. OT is apparently full of people who go by some type of miscalculated system of odds instead of what's actually happening to draw their conclusions on the likelihood of something being real. I post several videos (out of the thousands available) of highly credible individuals expressing that they've personally seen UFOs and/or believe that they are alien in nature. What do I get? Several pages of people attacking the testimony of ONE of those individuals. People targeting ONE of those people and trying to prove that he believed something other than what he indicated before. What about the others folks? Did you forget about them? This forum is full of people willing to call millions of people nutjobs just because they haven't had a personal visit from E.T. at their doorstep. How sad.

I can do the same thing. You know what? I don't believe in the North Korean nuclear program. All I've ever been presented with is hearsay, and I've never seen anything other than blurry or distant photos and videos to support it. I'm not going to bother looking online myself for the evidence. You have to prove it to me. Post links! Links or it didn't happen! Waaaaahhhhh!!!

Nothing got "blown up." When you've seen what I've seen, some OTers that think they know everything doesn't change it. The parts of the big picture that I've seen related to this subject are comforting and enlightening to me, but apparently very scary to most people.

I'm not mad, just frustrated. I'm frustrated that people will ignore the finer details (or just not do the research necessary to get those details) that separate the "generic" and explainable UFO cases from the legitimate, must be aliens kind.

There's the other problem with some of these arguments too.. Just because someone can provide what sounds like a possible explanation for some of these cases not involving extraterrestrials doesn't mean that they're right. Usually those types of explanations fall apart when you gather all of the details surrounding an event. That's what makes these cases truly interesting.

What exactly have you seen that causes you to be so much mightier than us then? Fear has nothing to do with this, at least in my case. It's all calm logic on my side. As I've said already if I learned aliens existed then it wouldn't bother me. it wouldn't change the way I think. It wouldn't change my views on reality, the universe or time. You claim to know what you know but I know what I know as well.

Sorry can't take you seriously.. You think angels, dragons, and time travelers are real, and a possibility to these sightings.. IN fact you specifically said those are THE ONLY plausible options outside of aliens nothign remotely realistic.. The only thing you have shown is you don't know how to debate what so ever.. Your having people trying to prove a negative.. You first must prove they were aliens, UFO is not synomnous with alien.. You have yet to prove otherwise, instead you have shown to be a immense hypocrite multiple times in this thread..

My argument against aliens visiting earth - space. I'm sure other intelligent life exists in the galaxy. I'm also sure it has never visited the earth.

I take back my views. The OP is an alien visitor from a far away solar system where logic doesn't apply, they build pyramids for fun, and watch other civilizations from orbit

When they can fly at speeds that can hardly be measured and turn at hard angles literally on a dime while going at those speeds, yeah.. it kind of has to be aliens. Especially when the craft are sometimes oh.. a mile across. Ever heard of the Phoenix lights? There were whole TV programs made about that one sighting.

I like how you mention UFOs being capable of amazing aeronautic feats but then bring up a sighting where the UFO in question did nothing spectacular and in fact is described as banking and moving slowly. Also it's amazing that no one thought to take a high exposure shot or record using night vision so all we have of the sighting is crappy video and pictures. Or maybe the aliens make people in their general vicinity stupider. http://www.latest-ufo-sightings.net/2010/03/phoenix-lights-over-destin-fl.html Check it out someone mistook flares for the same craft somewhat recently. Yes those are quite obviously flares. You want to know the primary reason people don't take this seriously? Look at all the people who go around claiming everything they see in the sky that they can't immediately identify as an alien. Tell them to also take better pictures in the future.

You posted 5 links about 3 people. One of them is on record clarifying his previous statements to the exact opposite of what you have chosen to believe. One of them is a known certifiable nutjob who believes not only in aliens, but all sorts or paranormal activity and believes his cancer was cured by a teenager performing a long distance 'hands on ritual'. The third one couldn't make up his mind about what he had personally had actually seen, or not seen, or been told by someone else, or had heard third hand, or not been told by someone else or had not heard third hand. If one were to actually take every statement he made literally, it would be a contradictory mess. The upshot is that a literal belief in every statement he made would make him either the luckiest or unluckiest human ever, seeing as he apparently had numerous personal contacts with aliens over multiple decades. They must have liked him a lot. As for astronauts in general, I have no idea why you would grant them any kind of special status in discussions about UFOs etc. For those who have made it into space, I would say we should be highly suspect of anything any of them say on the matter, pro or con. Virtually all of them have claimed to have had a life transforming experience just by being in space. A few went the UFO route, a few went the religion route, a few went the solitary route, a few completely changed their professions/lives, at least one turned to booze and depression, etc. They are highly unreliable in this discussion IMO.

When they can fly at speeds that can hardly be measured and turn at hard angles literally on a dime while going at those speeds, yeah.. it kind of has to be aliens. Especially when the craft are sometimes oh.. a mile across.hartsickdiscipl
It's funny because it's physically impossible

[QUOTE="MrGrimFandango"]UFO = YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS, SO STOP SAYING IT IS ALIENS. Holy ****ing ****. It isn't a hard concept to grasp. hartsickdiscipl

Especially when the craft are sometimes oh.. a mile across. Ever heard of the Phoenix lights? There were whole TV programs made about that one sighting.
