Not Bush's fault, either; Congress declares war, not the President.

I'm tired of people blaming the President because he's the President rather than blaming the other incompetent areas of our government when they screw up.

I think it has been clearly established that it was Clinton's fault and the rest of the Democrats too.

People of opposing political parties blame eachother for the world's problems regardless of whether or not they were actually responsible, especially when the opposing party is currently in power and thus is threatening the other party?

My God. I do believe I have discovered partisanship.

In all seriousness, I think the majority of people are tired of people trying to wash their hands of the matter and the finger-pointing that occurs on both sides.

Yep, Congress holds so much power it's ridiculous. The Supreme Court does as well, but obviously not on worldwide or economic issues. (usually)

No, he cannot. There has not been enough time to assess the effects of his economic policies, nor has there been enough time for his economic policies to even have an impact.

Obama is spending money he doesn't have. The Federal government spends $1 trillion per year on the Banksters' overseas empire. If this were brought to a stop, and the money returned to the taxpayers, we would have real stimulus. The trillion in spending that will come from the "stimulus" bill is just a boatload of Monopoly money

I'm tired of the double standard that comes with people who defend Obama's presidency yet blame Bush for all of the nation's problems. People tend to forget that there's more to the government than the president, and that neither Obama or Bush are at fault for all of the nation's problems.

Like what remembermytitans said, I got tired of people blaming Bush for everything while ignoring the fact that Congress has so much more power than the President. But, expanding on what previous people have said, that's politics, it will always be the blame game, no matter what

Yeah, I kinda have to agree with that statement Serraph, but at that point everyone in America was rallying behind him because we were angry. We never knew it was going to end up like it is now. But Congress also needs to be held accountable

"Support" is the key word. I didn't see the Democrat-controlled Congress do anything about it--despite making that their top promise.

The President cannot declare war. He can support war--just like anybody else in this country--but he cannot declare it or end it. That falls to Congress.

I'm sorry, but you can't blame only Bush and republicans for the Iraq war, eventhough they were in power.

Democrats Before Iraq War Started

You have:
Madeline Albright
Bill Clinton
Howard Dean
Sandy Berger
Nancy Pelosi
Jay Rockefeller
Joe Biden
Harry Reid
Hillary Clinton
John Edwards
Evan Bayh
Talking about Saddam and WMDs, and how they support the President. Can't just blame the Reps, Dems. Both parties got us into Iraq.

Meh, I'm just tired of politocs overall. It's nothing but people blaming others for our problems and complaining, a bunch of bias in the media, and a bunch of silly controversies from the government itself.

I'm also very tired of hearing Bush-bashing and Obama-bashing.

While the start hasn't exactly been glorious and I'm sceptical of his capabilities, we can't judge him for a few years. Maybe that stimulus will revive the economy, maybe it won't but we won't know for a long time, same with the appointments that finally get confirmed.

I just don't see how spending double that of the Bush administration is going to solve anything. Where are we going to pay for all this? What's even funnier is this country is in the economic woes that it is, and he wants to spend money in promoting abortion in other countries. I don't see the logic in this.

In the interests of being fair, people (some with quite a large following) have been blaming Bush (sometimes rightfully so,) for problems that have been plaguing our country for quite some time. About 8 years.

Everybody is going to blame Obama for everything at this point. He has been saddled with issues both big and small that have been in our United States' history since its insurrection.

Blame him all you want. I'll be cheering for him when he starts making progress and I'll support him when he's making choices that I don't feel are in the countries best interests because I voted for him. Right or wrong, I felt that he could make a difference and still do.

Doesn't he want to raise the capital gains tax too?

Just looked it up, Bush signed a bill that reduced it to 15%, but Obama said recently he will let the bill revert back to the normal 20%, but that's all the way in 2011. But then he says it's the best time to buy, which I agree with. But for God's sake, why would you reverse the bill to 20% if you want people to buy stocks? That's not much incentive.

Edit: I love clicking on a link and having it take me to "Top Games"...what the hell!?

I'm tired of the double standard that comes with people who defend Obama's presidency yet blame Bush for all of the nation's problems. People tend to forget that there's more to the government than the president, and that neither Obama or Bush are at fault for all of the nation's problems.

I think it has been clearly established that it was Clinton's fault and the rest of the Democrats too.

Or Carter's. You're suppose to trace back all failures to Democratic administrations. It's quite simple really.
