Are You For Helping Illegals or Against?

I'm mainly speaking of Mexicans considering we have a large amount of them in our country illegally. I don't blame them for sneaking in honestly I mean look at their country its got multiple murders each day through drug wars and so on. Im all for helping some illegals but only the ones that want to come here to actually try to work. Some women come here pregnant then live off welfare. But those who come to work their a** off to support there family have my support. Whats your opinion?

Well the U.S. exploits mexico to the max, i see little problem with returning such values.

I guess it depends on what you mean by helping them. I'm in favor of providing a method by which illegal immigrants, if they register and do certain things, can earn the right to remain here legally since it's both the moral and right thing to do and I don't think it's realistic to expect us to be able to round up millions of illegal immigrants and deport them. I'm not in favor of some sort of general amnesty that switches them all over to citizens instantaneously.nocoolnamejim

The only help illegal aliens should get is back across the border. Outside of that, they do not deserve or should they get any sort of help.

For. There needs to be a pathway to legal status for undocumented people. It's a shame that the last couple of attempts at immigration reform failed. tonyjay87

It is called return back across the border and apply for a visa that allows for immigration. They should not be given legal status just for being in this country, they need to enter this country the proper way and not by just jumping a fence or crossing a desert.

It seems unfair to me that I'm entitled to all the benefits of living in my country because I was born here when I have no control over where I'm born. Just by getting on a boat means tha they've put more effort into getting into this country than me.

I sympathize with the illegal immigrants who come here with good intentions. I'm talking about the ones who want to come here to have their families live better lives and they don't want to wait for the system to make them legal (which could take a long time).

That said, I'm still against illegal immigration in general. I would like it to be easier/quicker for legitimate immigrants to come into the country.
