Some of the songs have grown on me over-time. Afterlife in particular thanks to Rock Band as it is fun as hell to play on every instrument.

Funny thing, my friend showed me the making of DVD for that album and when the string group they brought in was recording and Gates's guitar solo played for them, the Bassist stopped playing, turned around, and said "THAT IS THE GREATEST GUITAR SOLO I HAVE EVER HEARD!"

That'll teach anyone who even thinks about cracking a joke about my appearance, because they'll be too busy thinking about how I'm obviously going to put up a good fight if I wear an intimidating shirt that has nine guys wearing horribly made masks.

I'll also start wearing ironic Che Guevara shirts so I can make my misinformed statements about the capitalistic society that we live in without realising what he stood for and the fact that the money I paid for the shirt goes to some big corporation. It'll be great.

Oh man, don't even get me started on those guys that listen to crap from the 80s and call it metal. Seriously, Metallica wasn't metal until Load came out, and then that's when they started pumping out the good stuff, and when I say good, I mean some serious HxCore stuff.

Plus, I like how I can relate to Corey's message in his music, which is so HxCore, because all the craziest and badass people that I know to like true metal all come from Iowa. There's so many Hardcore people in Des Moines, it's ridiculous. You have to grow up around cows and wheat fields to know what it is to be HxCore.

CD title is All Hope is Gone and the single title is the same .. plus they got another one out call Psychosocial .. definately going to check them out .. and the Album is coming out around August 20th ..

You may hate me .. but Load and Re-Loaded were two of the worst albums ever, while St Anger was the WORST of all time .. Slayer and Sepultura are amazing .. and those albums are better than those three Metallica ones ..

They see my mask and they're all like "Oh god, he's wearing a Slipknot mask, he'll probably try to strangle us with the bicycle chains hanging from his Hot Topic pants." It's, like, the coolest thing ever. Plus, it's great for when I go trick-or-treating for Halloween. That mask is the best 40 bucks I've ever spent in my life.

Why so much criticism? Some people call them emo. They have some emoish stuff, and some sad and meaningful stuff, there is a difference. And many people just say they're not metal. Did they say they were metal? They are metalcore or hard rock, whatever. They are one of my favorite bands, and I want to know what other people think.

I LOVE my metal .. Pantera and Hatebreed topping out my list on top .. but to say Load and Re-Loaded were good albums you must have a hearing problem .. and the Sepultura and Slayer are awesome bands .. Slayer influenced Slipknot .. deal with it man .. theres so much good metal out there .. have a broader range than just Slipknot ..

Go listen to All That Remains .. Killswitch .. Hatebreed .. Death .. and so many others ..
