There has never been a video in the history of my membership of GS that I have thought to be such a steaming pile of bullcrap.
Seriously.
I suggest you watch this video it is the most hilarious/depressing thing I've ever seen.

haha then never post another video, are you that blind to realize how the video focus on obama for about 2 mintes and then goes directly to the old, over played, misconstrued rev wright issue?? the video has nothing to do with obama, just some sly producer slowly changed the subject of his video, and you obviously fell for it...
Obviously he has a lot in common with his pastor when he has that poster in his office. Seriously, wake up.Did anyone hear what Obama said over the phone? He was saying that John McCain was acting like "A typical white person". If John McCain ever said something like that about a African American he would lose his career. Search it up on YouTube if you want.

I'm not a person who uses identity politics, but I'll help him out. The man married Obama. The title of Obama's book is inspired by this man. He did not say TINY things, he said "god **** america." This man had not a tiny influence on Obama, he was a major part of his life.
That said, I still oppose Obama for his policies, not his relationships.

It was on that video that he put a link to. It's probably around the 8 minute mark? Interesting video though. Worth the watch through just to get a different view of Obama. I really would like to see something like that about McCain though. I really am worried more about the negatives of these candidates than the positives they bring to the table.

That "new and refreshing" perspective on Obama that that video presents is based mainly on the fact that his middle name is Hussein.

Why did he say "god damn America"?
I don't understand. People who "want the war to end" shouldn't be voting for Obama. When it comes to dealing with terrorists, McCain has experience. Obama doesn't.
Obama might be able to help the economy more, but McCain could end the war as quickly and efficiently as possible. Obama simply lacks experience when it comes to international affairs.
Personally, I think it would be best if McCain was elected, just so he could fix the Iraq situation. After 4 years, if he hasn't improved the economy, we elect someone like Obama.
That's the way I see it.

With his military experience, he would be the best bet for doing so.
(and by "dealing with terrorists," I don't mean necessarily making deals with them, but taking care of the problem)
I'd choose Barack Obama over George Bush III any day.sc_ajk29

They were. They were fighting secretly with the Vietcong. And the master chief. That's why we lost.

A war more than 30 years ago with completely different people and circumstances.
Yeah that will help him today deal with terrorists from a different region, with different objectives, involving different people and beliefs :o

No not really, I'm trying to point out that were fighting a very different enemy in a quite a dramatic change of venue.
It's actually a pretty similar enemy. If you people think Obama can do a better job in the middle east, go ahead and vote for him. But I'm right, so you just keep watching your favorite liberal broadcasting station and just TRY to find any hint that he can.
I'm leaving this thread, kthxbye.

Similar? You need to do some history reading when you're not here. You don't have to watch some liberal broadcasting station to know Vietnam and the current war are not at all alike :o

The situation is very similar to Vietnam. Enemies using guerilla tactics, with a mindless devotion to their cause (be it their 'Islamic' faith or their leftist political views) with one goal: to destroy who they believe are the enemy.
McCain has been around longer than Obama anyway, it's simple logic.
Now I'm leaving (seriously) you guys alone to fight against the other people who have actually thought about the situation the country is in, instead of believing the talking box in your living room.
Sorry if I insulted your liberalism.
[QUOTE="EnigManic"]...I find it curious that the only reason Obama was in a position to run in the first place is because he was promoted by default after his superior got caught up in a sex scandal and resigned.bradleybhoy
What has that got to do with him being black? You said the only reason he was a presidential candidate is because he is black. :|
Clearly ridiculous.
What's rediculous is your failure to see the point. Obama isn't on the ticket because he's the best candidate. He's on the ticket because he took some white guy's job after he got caught messin with hookers.
I had a slight misunderstanding here. It was not John McCain, it was a relative of his that Obama was talking about. I am sorry for not getting this right the first time.Did anyone hear what Obama said over the phone? He was saying that John McCain was acting like "A typical white person". The internation community gives Obama the seal of aproval!
Vote Obama! Vote for someone who will actually talk with the rest of hte world instead of go:
"Right, thats it, time for war, we're going, who's coming?"
England and Australia: "Omg, Mr Bush, me me me!!!!"
Don't vote for Obama just because hes the first healthy man to run for president in the history of the united states, hes black, or the fact that hes man; vote for him because hes the only sane choice you can make.

I'll take Bush over Obama any day.
But really, how many presidents have had to deal with things like Bush has.
I would've voted for Barack Obama until he raised taxes to help give poor people money who are lazy and don't even go out to find a job and end up using their welfare (our money) to buy drugs/cigs/beer.Also if he takes Hilary for VP I think that would be ridiculous since he would only be taking her for her votes even though they hate each other mutually. This is why politics is a bunch of BS. I'm sick of them doing or saying whatever just to win even if it's not what they really believe or want. Vuurk
Well said! The bottom line is this: There are other citizens in this country besides the rich, the dirt poor and the illegals. What about the working class? We need a president who will restore, protect and preserve our constituional rights, including gun rights, women's rights and unrestricted freedom of speech. We need a president who will serve the needs of the American people, not lie to get elected and then try to rule over us.
I will not be voting in this upcoming election unless Ron Paul is on the ticket.

Very few, due to the fact that George Bush was one of the select few who decided to turn his eyes and ears upon the requests of the American people with pride, and bring those issues on Himself. Over his 7 years in Office he must have forgot that this is not a Monarchy, and he's ruined the reputation of countless people in Capitol Hill. So you have people like Scott McClellan trying to save their own reputation by further downing his.
If Obama ends up losing this election, theres going to be a real need for a Redesign within the Democratic Party. They might as well split up into Socialists and Third-Parties if it comes to that, weve already seen how divided the Obama/Clinton supporters have been over their Nominating process.
