Ironman's huuuuuuuuge. At least, the original one is. Batman would be helpless.luke1889Are you talking about the 616 Iron Man as opposed to Ultimate Iron Man?
[QUOTE="FragStains"]Iron Man. Batman can't fly without external resources. That gives Iron Man a huge advantage.TheZ3nMan
How is his suit not an external resource? :?
I choose Batman, for all the reasons Sajedene listed, and because he's the Batman.
Because he always has access to it...Batman on the other hand doesn't have that ability at his fingertips.[QUOTE="Sajedene"]Batman... He has hooked up with the hottest women (Wonderwoman included). Niff_T
How's that going to help him in a fight? :P
Catwoman and Talia can't fight him properly because of their relationship. His relationship with Wonderwoman makes her a strong ally in the battlefield as well. And it just makes him awesome -- that his enemies are like WOW.Batman... he's considered one of the if not the smartest man, greatest detective, and his only problem is he has trust issues. He's beaten practically every big name out there including Superman. The whole Justice League fears him. He has hooked up with the hottest women (Wonderwoman included). I can go on and on. SajedeneThis girl speaks the truth.

I C WUT U DID THAR So, who would win: Alfred or Jarvis?I'll take the billionaire playboy who fights crime with superior technology and a British butler.

I was thinking about that, but still, you can't use allies in a fair fight...
wha *head explodes*I'll take the billionaire playboy who fights crime with superior technology and a British butler.

The problem I have with Ironman is he looks and moves very efeminate in video games. And puttign him up against Batman, who I have been a long time fan of, is just asking for trouble. Batman would find a way around everything. He has to for he is Batman.[QUOTE="FragStains"]Iron Man. Batman can't fly without external resources. That gives Iron Man a huge advantage.xaos

I don't think Batman is the smartest or even one of the smartest. He is very smart, but he is more of the "street-smarts" and great detective than "intelligence" smart. Iron Man (especially Ultimate Iron Man) outclasses him when it comes to raw intelligence. From the DC universe characters like Lex Luthor and even Superman far outclass him when it comes to raw intelligence (yes, unknown to most, Superman has super-intelligence :P ). But I still believe that Batman would win. It has nothing to do with intelligence and everything to do with experience. Batman is a master tactician and a combat veteran. He understands the ins and outs of combat and understands how to find and exploit weaknesses. It would also seem that he is an adept psychologist considering his ability to "read" people and accurately guess what they will do next and how to entrap them.
As for how it would all go down...Batman would make an EMP grenade, set it off and watch Iron Man die. If he is fighting Ultimate Iron Man (who doesnt need the suit to live) he would use the EMP, then proceed to remove the suit from him. After that its all smooth sailing.

Bad news; the armor is tempest-hardened against electrical and EM attacks :(If DC ever pitts Batman against Steel or S.T.R.I.P.E., then we will pretty much know the real victor is >_>
Unless it's happened already, has it happened??

Bad news; the armor is tempest-hardened against electrical and EM attacks :( HACKS!! Didnt know that, but then again I've never really liked Iron Man -_- ....Ok , well Batman would just find some other way to accomplish this. On another note, whats the name of the marvel character with the power to know the weakness in everything? I think he was one of the Asgard Gods...might have been Loki, not sure. Batman would probably strike a deal with him and then find a way to kill Iron Man.Iron Man. Power Armor beats regular armor with acrobatics and martial arts tossed in. How, exactly, is Batman supposed to injure or harm Iron Man in any way, shape or form? Batman would last a long time, dancing around, avoiding all of Iron Man's attacks, etc. But ultimately, the man who is NOT in powered armor would tire and slow down and then Iron Man would have him.nocoolnamejim
cut the power, the suit becomes a cage. as for weak spots, the eye covers and any place where Tony needs to bend (ie elbows, knees...) are more vulnerable. Ironman will get cocky and underestimate Batman, and then Batman will destroy him

You may have gotten the Asgard thing from conflation with the very different but similarly-named Karnilla.

And I just want to add that people on this board seem to overestimate Batman's intelligence. He is very intelligent but he is nothing compared to the likes of Iron Man (Ultimate expecially), Lex Luthor, Superman, Mr. Fantastic, Victor Von Doom and so on. So Iron Man is stronger, faster, and more intelligent than Batman, but Batman would still win. Why do I think so? Because Batman always wins! I mean he's beat Superman, and if he can take on Supes, I think he can take on Iron man.

Iron man. because not even a direct hit from a tank round can harm Iron man (just stuns him and scratches his armor), what makes you think a bat-a-rang would do any damage whatsoever?

You say that like you can cut the suits power off with a flip of a switch. Tony Stark is a genious. He's one of the smartest minds in the world and owns the most advance technology, so it's not going to be easy to beat his tech. Also, Batman has no where near the strength to physically hurt Iron Man in any way. And perhaps pre red and gold Iron Man would underestimate his opponent. Current Iron Man, not so much. Please Log In to post.
