definitely Cali. East coast is scorching in summer, freezing in winter, Cali is nice and temperate all year round, plus none of that nasty humidity. BMD004Doesn't the rest of California that isn't Southern California have really cold winters? When I lived in the Bay Area, it never dropped below 30.
Yep. Best state in America, too. Haters gonna hate.Skittles_McGee

Thats what I was told by the last person who asked. Since then, I've learned how to properly dispose of dead bodies. ...I mean, what.

You want my social security number too?
Up by Kankakee. Used to be Chicago.
Skittles_McGee

I'll generic and pick my home state of Minnesota. Minneapolis is an amazing city. Couldn't see myself moving away from her ever again.Minnesota.

Only downside is the fact that there is too much snow, which can be easily countered by hot chocolate, a girl, and a fire. ;)
Um... New Mexico... Too bad they suck at restoring and preserving the only thing that makes living in the state worth it. Colorado is up there, but they are not much better than NM in the competence department. Alaska would be my choice, but its harsher winters and bears knock it down.

Wisconsin was great until Scott Walker, and now the political divisions are nasty.
I loved Washington state when I lived there.

I hope that the wildfires are contained, I still haven't gotten to Colorado yet.
I live in ruston and work in farmerville... Louisiana sucks...I'm biased since I'm from New Orleans... but I love Louisiana. It's dirty and there is a lot of crime, but I don't care. I like the culture. There is actually a culture, tradition, and likeness of the people in New Orleans that is different from anywhere else in the U.S.
I live in Houston... and it's nice... but it's lacking any real culture and identity.

Massachusetts or California. If MA didnt have such bad summer humidity, it would be even better. It's got the history, all 4 seasons are present, no earthquakes, or hurricanes, or tornados. Tons of awesome schools, and you are always within a few hours ride to the beach. Super liberal, as well. Big technology and a pretty good artistic/music outlets in Boston.
It's really expensive, though. High sales/property tax.
Ouside of the good schools, that sounds horrible. :PMassachusetts or California. If MA didnt have such bad summer humidity, it would be even better. Brrzzt, wrong. Looks like you haven't followed the news on what happened in MA last year, since I'm a native there, I'll have you know a Tornado occurred there June 1st, 2011, was one of the places that big Earthquake hit on August 23rd, 2011, and some parts of it were also hit by Hurricane Irene at the very end of August 2011. However, so far I think that year was the only one that State had that many abnormal natural disasters, so for some reason I think the weather there last year was in fluke mode.Massachusetts or California. Hmmm, you sure about that one? Haven't been hearing much good about that State, but just government issues, passing stupid laws and what-not, but I guess you could argue that its not like other states in America haven't done that also...Gonna give my fave-5. Have it at, guys... :P
