definitely Cali. East coast is scorching in summer, freezing in winter, Cali is nice and temperate all year round, plus none of that nasty humidity. AllicrombieSouthern cali is not temperate. If you want temperate all year round - it's Hawaii.

That is what I was saying earlier. Humidity gets up there too.

Lol, it's random that you would choose Jacksonville Fl and Bergen/Hudson county NJ to be in the blue.
Of all the states I have been to, I vote Florida, then West Virginia.AmazonTreeBoaOf all the states I've been to Florida might rank up there with the worst, especially the pan handle area.

I love the state that I live in, Pennsylvania, I think it's a great state if you're not a sports fan. Our sports teams can be a bit dissapointing. Somebody agrees with me right?
It's pure Michigan.Michigan.
The climate is as moderate as you can get. Snowy winters and hot summers.
There are no animals that are likely to kill you (there are bear and moose, but those are so rare that they don't really count). Hardly any snakes and only one type of semi-poisonous snake.
You'll never be restricted onthe amount of water you can use because you are surrounded by the largest body of freshwater in the world.
The industrial history has left a mark on michigan culture - Michiganders tend to be business-oriented people.
Hunting, fishing, racing etc...
You only have to drive a couple hours from anywhere in the state to land at a beach that is better than any beach on the ocean due to the lack of salt in the water.
Nothing in the great lakes will kill you.
It looks cool, like a mitten.
Home to many multi-billion dollar corporations.
There are only two seasons: Winter and Construction.

I would say NY cause Im from NYC and there are certain conveniences that other states dont have. But we have our down sides like its ******* expensive in NY. People are always talking about taxes in washington, but federal taxes are nothing compared to NY state tax.Diablo-BIt's just one city, though. The rest of the state pretty much sucks.
I love Michigan, although I live in the worst part of the state (southeast Michigan) I actually live about 20 minutes from Detroit if I take I-96 all the way.Michigan.

Grew up in Los Angeles, but as an adult, I prefer Texas, along with many of its cities over anything that California has to offer. I miss the weather and natural beauty of California, but as of late, many people, Californians included, have flocked to my second home for the many professional opportunities it offers.
