nope there isnt any disagreement .....if civilians dont fight you...you dont fight them ^^

sikanderahmed

Then were the people killed in the WTC combatants? If not, it still seems like there is disagreement. Regardless of specifics, it's a pretty amazing claim to say that every single person who follows Islam interprets it exactly identically.

im sure i remember bin laden saying he wasnt involved in 9/11.....i dont really believe bin laden planned 9/11...but then the whole conpiracy comes in

*blink* Hrm, well, OK, if you believe that then I think we are far enough apart that there is definitely nothing to be gained from further discussion.

[QUOTE="sikanderahmed"]

[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"] A clueless man who in this case is correct...

"(Q2) As for the second question that we want to answer: What are we calling you to, and what do we want from you?

(1) The first thing that we are calling you to is Islam.

(a) The religion of the Unification of God; of freedom from associating partners with Him, and rejection of this; of complete love of Him, the Exalted; of complete submission to His Laws; and of the discarding of all the opinions, orders, theories and religions which contradict with the religion He sent down to His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Islam is the religion of all the prophets, and makes no distinction between them - peace be upon them all.

It is to this religion that we call you; the seal of all the previous religions. It is the religion of Unification of God, sincerity, the best of manners, righteousness, mercy, honour, purity, and piety. It is the religion of showing kindness to others, establishing justice between them, granting them their rights, and defending the oppressed and the persecuted. It is the religion of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil with the hand, tongue and heart. It is the religion of Jihad in the way of Allah so that Allah's Word and religion reign Supreme. And it is the religion of unity and agreement on the obedience to Allah, and total equality between all people, without regarding their colour, sex, or language.

(b) It is the religion whose book - the Quran - will remained preserved and unchanged, after the other Divine books and messages have been changed. The Quran is the miracle until the Day of Judgment. Allah has challenged anyone to bring a book like the Quran or even ten verses like it.

(2) The second thing we call you to, is to stop your oppression, lies, immorality and debauchery that has spread among you.

(a) We call you to be a people of manners, principles, honour, and purity; to reject the immoral acts of fornication, homosexuality, intoxicants, gambling's, and trading with interest.

We call you to all of this that you may be freed from that which you have become caught up in; that you may be freed from the deceptive lies that you are a great nation, that your leaders spread amongst you to conceal from you the despicable state to which you have reached.

(b) It is saddening to tell you that you are the worst civilization witnessed by the history of mankind:

(i) You are the nation who, rather than ruling by the Shariah of Allah in its Constitution and Laws, choose to invent your own laws as you will and desire. You separate religion from your policies, contradicting the pure nature which affirms Absolute Authority to the Lord and your Creator. You flee from the embarrassing question posed to you: How is it possible for Allah the Almighty to create His creation, grant them power over all the creatures and land, grant them all the amenities of life, and then deny them that which they are most in need of: knowledge of the laws which govern their lives?

(ii) You are the nation that permits Usury, which has been forbidden by all the religions. Yet you build your economy and investments on Usury. As a result of this, in all its different forms and guises, the Jews have taken control of your economy, through which they have then taken control of your media, and now control all aspects of your life making you their servants and achieving their aims at your expense; precisely what Benjamin Franklin warned you against.

(iii) You are a nation that permits the production, trading and usage of intoxicants. You also permit drugs, and only forbid the trade of them, even though your nation is the largest consumer of them.

(iv) You are a nation that permits acts of immorality, and you consider them to be pillars of personal freedom. You have continued to sink down this abyss from level to level until incest has spread amongst you, in the face of which neither your sense of honour nor your laws object."

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2002/nov/24/theobserver

Let's not be naive about what Al Qaeda's ultimate goals are.

-Sun_Tzu-

oh geeezevery muslim (including bin laden)wishes that non-muslims should become muslims. he is just trying to give you an advice and isnt saying "you convert or we will invadez you"

So are you saying that if we don't do what they want us to do they'll stop their offensive Jihad?

ofcourse they will stop seriously wtf do you even understand that letter?

All this is further critism he never once said he will attack you if you don't follow any of these things even though one of those things is the reason for his attacks. The only thing he in literally asked you to do was stay out of middle eastern affairs and become intolerant. The latter being unacceptable, but the first being somewhat reasonable.

You obviously are not familiar with Qutbism. These people want to destroy Jahiliyyah (which is anything that is not what they consider Islamic) around the world through a violent Jihad. They feel as if it is their religious obligation to do so. To them, Islam is dead everywhere around the world and that it is their God given duty to revive it.

I fully understand it, but many muslims want to spread islam even through non-violent means, even members of Al qaeda. Did you read the article about the reporter that spent 4 days with Al qaeda? One member tried to convert him through non-violent means and hoped to spread islam in europe through the captured reporters residence. I'm pretty sure these people know that compassion is the best way to get people to do what they want. How do you think bin laden gets people to blow themselves up? Forcing them? Or compassion?

I'm not an expert but I know enough to know that Al Qaeda cannot be negotiated with because of their adherence to Qutbism, and that opinion is shared with pretty much every foreign policy expert.

[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"] Do you understand Qutbism? If you don't understand that then you certaintly don't understand Al Qaeda.-Sun_Tzu-

sorry the link you provided, i dont see any signs of qutbism in it. you are really trying to hard. first it was "zomg look at this linkz" and now you are saying "buh buh teh qutbism"

Wow dude, so you are seriously denying that Al Qaeda is not adhering to Qutbism? First you say that Osama might not have been behind 9/11 and now this...

[QUOTE="mixedplanet"] US intelligence had a major failure in recent years with Iraq, so i will trust it, but i will stay a bit skeptic.

Sure, but there is really nothing to be skeptical about at this point, all signs point to bin laden there is virtually no debate.

...it is an incredibly radical Sunni Islamic ideology that stresses violent, global Jihad against anything and everything that is not what they deem Islamic. Qutbist groups like Al Qaeda believe that Islam is by and large dead, and that Qutbist vanguards (like Al Qaeda) are the only "true" Muslims, and that it is their God-given duty to revive Islam throughout the globe.

"Bin Laden said Americans had failed to understand that al-Qaida carried out the attacks in retaliation for U.S. support for Israel. If America reconsiders its alliance with the Jewish state, al-Qaida will respond on "sound and just bases."

so yeah wasnt bin laden meant to say "we will estabilish islam all over the world and kill americans no matter what" i mean after all they follow Qutbism which means they want to kill non muslims and estabilish islam all over the world through violent jihad(im sure that sayyid qutb didnt even say this in his book)

How is he showing sympathy? He is telling us to back down or else he will continue. He is trying to order a retreat from the U.S. Why? Probably for a couple of reaons. 1)because he is running low on resources and won't be able to carry it out much longer. or 2)he wants us to step down because even HE is tired of all of this bull. He isn't sympathetic and deserves to be blown off the face of the Earth. I say we DO finish this thing in Afghanistan by dropping every single one of our nukes across their sorry country. Don't harbor a malicious group and not expect their to be a coincidence. That is all...

Demanding us to adopt Sharia law and to oppress women, gays, Jews, ect. That is Qutbism. If you actually read the letter I linked it says in the last paragraph, "If you fail to respond to all these conditions, then prepare for fight with the Islamic Nation." Kinda sounds like the call for a violent Jihad if we don't become what they consider Islamic and adopt Sharia law...

Perhaps he was always this diplomatic, we just never saw that side of the tapes before. I'm not saying it was a conspiracy, but when you're trying to lead a war against a single man, you probably wouldn't want to show anything that would make him seem more human. Kinda ruins the cause.

Yeah, my brother is in the military and he tells me all the **** that goes on over in Africa. If anyone has ever been there they would know it's alot different there then it is here. When they report news it's news about all the BS that happens to their people and who are the culprits behind it? I'll let you figure that one out. It's a shame really our news media only reports what our governments want you to hear.
