Just to answer the shower question.....it's not a big deal. Only time you shower en masse would be basic. But if you are bothered get up earlier.

I did, in fact, have a room mate that was gay while I was in the army. No problems whatsoever and I didn't adjust my habits because of it.

You misunderstand again: I was asking you if every soldier in the military is homophobic or not. And it is in place so that homosexual soldiers are not discharged for something as petulant as their sexuality being uncovered.super_mario_128

I don't think America is ready for this, I could be wrong of course. There is still alot of discrimination in the military, I wonder if this will add to it or if the mentality of people these days has changed enough that nothing will come about due to this.
