Yet another example of organised religion making up the minds of people who can't think for themselves I see.

Ilovegames1992

That's the people's fault surely?

Both. People should be smart enough to not fall for these lies, but they shouldn't be telling these lies in the first place

I'd like to see more thoughtful posts, and less irrisponsible Reddit-style close-eyed, finger-pointing, naive, wrongly focused, adolescent, pseudo-anti-establishment poo fodder. Just stick to funny images, and leave the hot topics to those of us who choose to think more critically about the world around us.

You might want to start by getting off of your high horse.

The tradition of the church which have been passed down 2000 years. Not reformed traditions but those mentioned in the writings of the ancient fathers. They would learn from these people and rationally conclude that medicine is not opposed to God.

I guess you mean your own "church", rather than the many religions that preceded your one.

Which "ancient fathers" writings are you specifically referring to, or are you just blowing more smoke here?

No. He's a literate person who understands where the burden of proof lies.

Still doesn't prevent him from being the lamest troll on GS

My rule of thumb is never take advice (especially sexual) from sexually repressed individuals or virgins.

That's where the aids patients went wrong.

The only churches that I have ever encountered that were against medical treatment were not Christian churches. The group referred to as Christian Scientists being an example (not to be confused with Christians who are scientists, big difference). Heck, Luke who wrote two of the largest books in the New Testament was a medical doctor.

This isn't religion, this is just stupid people hiding behind their own pride and reputation, aka the Pharisees in Jesus' time.
