Why can't we all just get along? :(MgamerBD
Because you're wrong and I'm mad that you won't accept that I'm right.
Religion is a crutch for the weak people. I will not practice' tolerance' for something that has brought so much evil to the world.Good-Apollo
Yes, because we all know that humans never do bad things unless their religiously motivated.
wow we are getting close into a judgement day. ddont you think this is going to start a religion war ? well i hope not

Religion is the root of all wars
[QUOTE="Niner0"]The issue is with the people itself, not the religion.I hate religion so much... Can't we all just get along?
Stevo_the_gamer
Shhhhh atheist just love to proclaim their hatred for religion at all times and love to blame it everytime a PERSON uses it for his own reasons regardless of the situation.
Good. At least Christians don't fly planes into buildings, stone young girls, behead contractors and journalists or suicide bomb crowded markets.MaxPred2010

So you won't practice tolerance for anything to do with humans then?
What is this...I don't even...Not too concerned. Fanatics will hate us regardless, and those who are more moderate will see that not everyone hates Islam.
I'm more concerned with people who burn the flag, to be honest.

What is this...I don't even...Because humans have brought the most evil in the world bar none. Almost anything humans do negatively affects the world, so why do you single out religion/.

Not at all; I quite enjoy the weekly Queer-stonin' after church. Builds a great sense of community.

Everything I said is %100 fact. Are YOU serious? So every Muslim does at least one of the above? Living under rocks isn't healthy, you know[QUOTE="Memberino"]But if a similar picture of Mohammed was presented, would it be allowed?scorch-62I shall post this again: "The Qur'an does not explicitly forbid images of Muhammad, but there are a few hadith (supplemental traditions) which have explicitly prohibited Muslims from creating the visual depictions of figures under any circumstances. Most contemporary Sunni Muslims believe that visual depictions of the prophets generally should be prohibited, and they are particularly averse to visual representations of Muhammad. The key concern is that the use of images can encourage idolatry, where the image becomes more important than what it represents. Other Muslims have taken a more relaxed view. Most Shi'a scholars accept respectful depictions and use illustrations of Muhammad in books and architectural decoration, as have Sunnis at various points in the past. However, many Muslims who take a stricter view of the supplemental traditions, will sometimes challenge any depiction of Muhammad, including those created and published by non-Muslims." well stated.

Well Christians did have a knack for torture in the old days. For example, the Spanish Inquisition.

The old days? We still got it. It's just less publicized. Snip snip crunch crunch. That's more than offensive......:| If Christians can tolerate a few idiot Muslims, then Muslims can tolerate a few idiot Christians. There are idiots on both sides.Hexagon_777
 Do you not think it's disrespectful to Christians to see the man they worship be depicted as someone who winks while grinning? They may not kill people to show their annoyance, but they would definitely find it disrespectful.[QUOTE="Animatronic64"]A mockery? Okay, maybe Raptor Jesus is a mockery, but Buddy Christ sure as hell isn't. CannedWorms
Although I disagree with the whole "No one can ever draw a picture of Mohammad because muslims say so" policy many people have, I see nothing offensive about Buddy Christ.
In the movie it comes from, he is supposed to be a more friendly image of Christ instead of a dead man on a cross. How exactly is the image of ones savior being a nice guy disrespectful? I actually wouldn't mind if Buddy Christ replaced Jesus on the cross as the symbol of Christian religions.
[QUOTE="Hexagon_777"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] That's more than offensive......:| fabz_95If Christians can tolerate a few idiot Muslims, then Muslims can tolerate a few idiot Christians. Two wrongs don't make a right.Irrelevant. It will still happen. Toleration is all that an be done here.

I see no problem with it.
The constitution is sacred, right? And burning the flag is a clear use of freedom of expression.

Ah but he's more emotional about a flag then a holy book. Burning either is going to upset some people. But in the US there is still the freedom to do so. Not really sure why this even merited a thread TBH.....[QUOTE="Pixel-Pirate"][QUOTE="airshocker"]

although in this country in theory at least people have the freedom to be intolerant as long as they do not cause harm to anyone else.
Ah - I misworded that - people here have the "right" to be intolerant so long as they do not cause harm to others.
You know what would be cool? If the media completely ignored this. That way the people doing it wouldn't be getting what they wanted.
A self proclaimed "New Testament" church...because Muslims are so hated on...sure..that's why there was a "Muslim Day" at Six flags and such...people deface the Bible all the time..hell..they stomp on the most revered thingi n the Church (The Communion) and they get away with it..so...instead of blowing people up they burn a book..it's not even like their saying "trade in your Quran for porn" like they did with the Bible..
Then again..two wrongs don't make a right...
"Dove World Outreach Center is essentially a scam."
Yeah...and
"Correction: This post originally stated that the headquarters of the church "were suddenly and inexplicably put on the market" on Thursday. This was incorrect -- the headquarters went on the market last year. This post also incorrectly implied that the Sun report had been published in recent days. The Sun story was from 2009. We regret the errors."
