oh dang they're gonna fightAbbeten
I wish.
Romney is threatened and now he's trying to defend windpower.
Just tuned in. I see Romney is trying to run over the debate moderator with his first question stuff again. Moderator seems to be doing a bit better than Jim Lehrer.
Nice bit from Obama, Romney is going to lower gas prices by crashing our economy. BS, but well delivered nevertheless.
"Obama has doubled the debit. 4 years ago it was 10 trillion, now its 16 trillion". That's not double. Romney just said he was good at math and budgeting.Swanogt19
I noticed this too. He did say that "if we continue with his policies it will increase to 20 trillion" but that is not the same meaning.

Going from 400-500 billion deficit to a trillion and then some is doubling...

He'd still be wrong. The deficit was 1.4T when he took office, now it's 1.1T...

Last I saw Obama has cut the deficit from when he took office though...
"How are you different than George W Bush" is a great questionJML897
One Romney is expertly tap dancing around.

LolI would say more frustrating than boringJML897
Well, boring in the sense that I haven't really heard much that is new.
As for who is winning I think it's a solid draw. Neither one are scoring points without responses. But I'm done watching for tonight, have better things to do.
Who is winning so far?TheWalkingGhost
I'm not sure on the truth aspect, but I would put the debat ein the lean Obama category. He's certainly a lot feistier than last time.

Lol He's not wrong. Projected deficit for 2009 was 1.2 trillion when Obama took office. It ended up being 1.4 trillion. The current deficit is 1 trillion. So he has in fact not doubled the deficit as Romney claims. Hardly anything to be proud of but Romney's claim is false.I like how Obama is constantly pulling out the personal attacks on Romney while Romney mostly talks about what he'll do as president. :PThe-ApostleA true Kenyan at heart NOTE: don't mod me mods.
