Go see Inglourious Basterds, I've seen both films in the past week and Basterds is much better in my not so humble opinion.
Basterds. Although my experience at the theater for District 9 was terrible, despite it being a great movie.
Bastards. But i have a question about it, is it more of a comedy, or serious, more like Defiance?bronxxbombers
I'd say it's both.
Saw District 9 last weekend, great story with characters you can actually feel for and one of the best Sci-Fi movies in awhile. Inglorious Basterds was my favorite Tarantino film by far and was a phenominal movie. If you wanna see Nazi's getting F'ed up, then seeing that, plus Brad Pitt was hilarious in it.
i have the same exact problem, me and my friends can't decide which one to see over the weekend :( we might end up seeing district 9 since it's more of a 'theatre movie', and basterds is pretty much a drama.

lol i meant theatre movie as in actiony with the big esplosions and the loud sounds and the...nevermind
Pay to see one, and then sneak into the other after the first movie is over, lol.

I almost did that, but then I just paid for the second ticket.
I saw both and I would have to say Inglourious Basterds. District 9 is great and if youre not a big Tarantino fan then maybe its better for you but Inglourious Basterds is a great movie experience.
[QUOTE="super_mario_128"]I haven't seen either so I can't tell you. :cry:Jazz_FanWell, watch Moon that's the only one you need to watch. :P It's not being released anywhere near me.

I find it kinda funny that District 9 is more historically accurate then Inglorious Basterds.Exit_293How so?
[QUOTE="MarioRPGer"]How so? If you replace Aliens with blacks you get the apartheid. . . . . Now Jews killing Nazi.Well QT didnt intend to make IB historically accurate but I do agree with you about District 9 somewhat.[QUOTE="Exit_293"]I find it kinda funny that District 9 is more historically accurate then Inglorious Basterds.Exit_293
