Do you base people off their avatars?

I'm not saying when you see mine you think i'm a chocobo but... Like when I see avatars with the old philosopher, I picture them as an old guy. I know it's usually not true.

And when they have like some anime girl avatar. I picture them as a girl but I know they aren't.

Also depending on what face the avatar is making that makes me picture what tone they are using in their posts. When it's like a careless face. I see there post as kinda sarcastic. Anyone else?

Well, sort of... I don't think someone is old when I see a pic of socrates or anything like that, but I do find myself unconsciously thinking of the posts by such people as "wiser", even if it's just a little bit.

Also, LJbasic's sig makes me feel like he's always mad at me for some reason. :P

I don't really picture them like that but... I don't know it hard to explain maybe I do. But I know that, there avatar really isn't what they appear to be.
