Why would he create everything else on the planet via evolution, but not humans?

well in the old testament it says God created humans blah blah blah, and God created animals with their "own kind" whatever that means. I'm still wondering why I can't reproduce with monkeys if they are supposedly my great ancestors?

Not sure if you are human.

I never said I didn't believe in evolution. If evolution is simply defined as change over time, then yes, I agree with that, with humans being the minor exception. So essentially, I agree with 99.9999999% of what evolution says.

You're embracing to superstition as well. Here you are, believing what these scientists tell you because of their credentials. You've never experienced evolution. You've never seen the evidence firsthand. That's an appeal to authority itself. The funny thing is, humans have been around for 30,000+ years, yet we haven't evolved into a brand new species.

No, I'm putting stock in evidence that I can see with my own eyes. You're putting faith in ancient poetic tales written by sheep herders who thought a cold sore was a sign of God's anger.

And we haven't evolved into a new species because 30,000 years if too short a time span for such drastic changes to happen. We have, nonetheless, evolved recently. Take blonde hair, for example - that has only come about in the last few thousand years.

We will never reach our "peak" of evolution because there is not such peak. Evolution isn't some movement towards perfection or some end goal. It is simply gradual change over time. If a change turns out to be beneficial then the anumals with that particular change will be more likely (though not assured) to survive, reproduce and carry on that change. That's all evolution is.

well in the old testament it says God created humans blah blah blah, and God created animals with their "own kind" whatever that means. I'm still wondering why I can't reproduce with monkeys if they are supposedly my great ancestors?playmynutz

The Bible also says:

1 Chronicles 16:30
tremble before him, all earth; yea, the world stands firm, never to be moved.

Psalms 93:1
The Lord reigns; he is robbed in majesty; the lord is robbed, he is girded with strength. Yea, the world is established; it shall never be moved.

Now tell me, do you believe the sun goes around the Earth? Or do you believe the above is wrong? You can't have it both ways.

[QUOTE="Captain52"]I seriously doubt we humans have reached the peak of our evolution.ZumaJones07
unless the environment changes radically, i don't see it happening. The next possible thing i see us having to adapt to is a water world.

I think it'd be interesting to become a Dolphin and live in an underwater Metropolis and be among super intelligent Dolphins.

[QUOTE="kingkong0124"] I never said I didn't believe in evolution. If evolution is simply defined as change over time, then yes, I agree with that, with humans being the minor exception. So essentially, I agree with 99.9999999% of what evolution says.kingkong0124

So essentially you're trying to embrace the facts while at the same time rejecting them because you want to cling to the superstition you were raised with.

You're embracing to superstition as well. Here you are, believing what these scientists tell you because of their credentials. You've never experienced evolution. You've never seen the evidence firsthand. That's an appeal to authority itself. The funny thing is, humans have been around for 30,000+ years, yet we haven't evolved into a brand new species.

herp derp. Never been to a natural science museum? They have fossils derp.

I don't think you understand how evolution works either. Evolution is just the constant mutations and changes a species goes through, and yes, there have been changes in the past 30000 years. For instance, until 5000 years ago, humans couldn't digest cow milk.

Adam and Eve were created by God directly. They then procreated, forming the rest of humanity through their descendants and our genes have remained unchanged by evolution since that time period which means that we're all genetically similar to those first humans and to each other.

[QUOTE="Crunchy_Nuts"]Advanced mathematics must also be taught, and so far it hasn't achieved anything in our world.br0kenrabbit

Here's a few things advanced mathematics have brought us (just a few examples):

Should have added sarcasm tags on my post. Only an idiot would believe what I said, and I'm not idiot.
