Ok history time:

AIDS is a virus that originates from a species of monkeys found in South Africa. Back then, decades ago, natives where working in the wild where they got infected by the virus due to their interaction with monkeys (in some professions monkeys are used to help workers with certain tasks such as collecing fruit from high trees). In South Africa though lived many Europeans who were travelling to Europe quite often. Thus it reached Europe.

In Europe, heterosexual people were using condoms (or whatever contraception method they had) to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Homosexuals of courses had no such risk. Therefore they didnt use condoms. The virus "took advantage" of this and got spread in the gay community. The gay people were unwillingly and unknowingly spreading a virus which was not even identified. The heterosexuals remained safe purely out of luck.

Furthermore nowadays the constant number of AIDS infections is not caused by homosexuals alone nor are they the main contributors. Cases like people who willingly spread the virus (because they have grown bitter from knowing they are infected) are important contriubutors.

It doens't really bother me. If they want to get married, let them.
