I agree with what AtomicBaconBits said, they're walking advertisements with no originality. Besides the clothing is really boring.AAllxxjjnnSo is that reason to dislike them?

They bring it upon themselves. IfI met a prep that's deserving of respect then I'd be happy to give it to them. I just assume that because it's too much of an effort for them to have the slightest trace of originality, it would also be too much of an effort for them to come off their high horse.
Of course, if you don't compliment their new hair gel they won't hesitate to call you a peasant, which is rather amusing.
I like this answer.I hate stuck up people period. I don't care what they are wearing.

I used to work there and i even hated myself, but who am I to argue with and resist pretty, morally disinclined girls?
[QUOTE="authorityissues"]Dude. I've been friends with many people who wear those clothes and many of them are really nice people. Disliking someone because they wear 'stuck-up' clothes is 'stuck-up.' Double standard, right there.AtomicBaconBitsI never said I dislike them.I have friends who wear that.It just really saddens me to see how everyone wants to fit in and be like everybody else. How do you know everyone who wears them just wants to fit in? Maybe they just like the clothes. I wear some AE and I'm not stuck-up about it in the slightest and I'm not trying to fit into anything. I just happen to like the clothes, the same reason you wear yours.
I don't like stuck-up people, but not because of what they wear. Even though I don't like abercrombie and fitch, I don't care if someone wears it.
This one. I wear American Eagle clothes all the time, but it's not like I go around acting like I have better clothes than anyone else. I just chose a store and stick with it when it comes to buying clothes so I don't have to wander every time I need a shirt.I hate stuck up people period. I don't care what they are wearing.

I hate it, all of the people who aren't cool and want to fit in wear it at my school. It's annoying, their clothes are so expensive I wish they would just go out somewhere else. Wearing Abercrombie and Fitch, Aero and AE do NOT make you cooler, it makes people think you are a spoiled brat. Conformists!
[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]I agree with what AtomicBaconBits said, they're walking advertisements with no originality. Besides the clothing is really boring.FUBAR24yeah but the same could be said if you own a single band tee, sports jersey, etc, etc true, what clothing is original?
Well I do dislike the stuck up people who wear these clothes, but almost all of the poeple who wear these clothes aren't stuck up.
If I had a reason to be stuck up and/or "elitist," I would be. And so would everyone else. We all deny it, but it's in our nature. We want to be godlike.
So, do you dislike people that wear prep brand name clothes like A & F and Aero and American Eagle, and Hollister, etc.? Do you hate them because they wear those clothes? Are the people who wear those clothes 'stuck-up?' Snooty? Jerks? Because if you dislike people who wear that type of clothing, I guess that makes you stuck-up too, in your own way. I happen to know tons of people who wear clothes like that and many of them are very nice. They aren't 'stuck-up' like the myths would have you believe. So I guess being "Anti-" is just as stuck-up as wearing the clothes makes you.authorityissuesI don't really mind. We have a saying in the Navy that goes like this : You don't have to respect the person but you have to respect the uniform. The same could be applied here but in reverse. You don't have to like th clothes but the person wearing them can be your best friend. Over the years I've learnt that everyone obviously have their preferences in clothes and brands and people need to get over this stupid bs about being "Anti..." whatever.
