Doing what's right for our country will make it a happier place. man, women, white, black -- Doesn't make a difference to me as long as they do right by America.

Doing what's right would still meet really loud complaints from one side of the political spectrum.

If it's done right, left and right should both be pissed.Because apparently ALL women everywhere are the same, and all happier then men?
This is like asking if grapes will be less rotten then oranges. Some will, some won't, and its kind of a generalized question that doesn't make sense.
i didn't say they're happier than men, i said that happy women usually means a good time and happiness all around.Because apparently ALL women everywhere are the same, and all happier then men?

just like the black guy is no different from the white guy before. collective reasoning fails again.I do not think that a woman president would be any different than another male presidency.

If you want happy then Hillary is a really bad choice. That being said, a woman as president would not so easily make everything hunky-dory in the first place.
It totally depends on what woman it is and if I agree with her more than the other candidate. Would it make the US a happier place? I have no idea, but one thing thats for sure is that it will make whoever voted her in happy, and thats how it always is. Hilary Clinton is probably the best choice I would most likely vote for her as I have no faith in the Republican party for the next oh decade or so.
switching a hot dog for a fish taco does not make a place happier i assure.
in all seriousness though, it would be much like Obama. Americans would bask in the fact that America has elected it's first female president. then quickly - in all likelihood - we would learn it's basically business as usual.
and if i were wrong, say she was an exceptional politician, a great speaker and great dealmaker. Then it would be on the basis that she was a fantastic politician, not because she was a woman.
happier place? What is this, Disneyland?Allicrombiewhen women are happy yes, pretty much. a woman prez would make the general happiness scale go up.
[QUOTE="Allicrombie"]happier place? What is this, Disneyland?ZumaJones07when women are happy yes, pretty much. a woman prez would make the general happiness scale go up. even all the people that didnt vote for and ultimately don't think a woman should be president would be happy?
[QUOTE="Allicrombie"]happier place? What is this, Disneyland?ZumaJones07when women are happy yes, pretty much. a woman prez would make the general happiness scale go up.Pretty sure the number one rule of life is if she ain't happy, you ain't happy.
Everybody would be unhappy :(

One's sex has no bearing on competence in regards to being the president, so no.ghoklebutterthis completely just like race.
Does it matter? It shouldn't matter what you are, or what your personality is if you have good ideas for your country. It's not as if a president will ever be your friend.
A female president wouldn't be able to do anything without a sh!t ton of media coverage slaughtering her.
We still kinda live in a sexist society, although not many admit it.
I think it'd be interesting to see what one could do. Since there's never been a female president, no one knows how well a suitable female could do the job. A lot of people would fear the change, thinking it would be for the worse, and that's why it's never been done as of yet in my opinion.
No way, don't you nkow anything about Julia Gillard? She's a perfect reason as too why a woman shouldn't solely lead a nation. Unless she's hot.
so what if a woman were elected president. i would say that women everywhere would be pretty happy and or proud about that and when women are happy, everyone is happy. it would be like obama and how a ton of black people felt happy and or proud. but half the population is women so if this happened i think the US would become a happier place. i think i'm on to something... Hillary Clinton 2016? Yup.ZumaJones07
I'm starting to think you're Aussiee Pet's older brother.
I don't think any president will make the US a happier place, because if they help out some people, other people will hate the person.
No. Just being a woman doesnt grant you some special insight or strategy. If she had good policies and good leadership skills, then maybe, but that goes for any president.
[QUOTE="coolbeans90"]just like the black guy is no different from the white guy before. collective reasoning fails again. lol, what? Do you ever know what you're talking about? Obama was not elected because people thought a black president woudl be better than a white one. He was a better cannidate than McCain was at the end of the day.I do not think that a woman president would be any different than another male presidency.

No I do not think it would make the US a happier place. I do think its coming though, with everything goin to the crapper people are desperate and looking for the wrong things. A female president I imagine would be disastrous
Also we wouldnt be AMERICA anymore. Not that that seems to matter for squat anymore. For shame
I don't think it would matter, I think the average American voter would still be just as dissapointed and pissed off with her as they are with every other politician at this point.
And who can blame them? It's not like having a woman as president would actually do anything, at this point it doesn't matter who you vote for, it's really just the same crappy things over and over again.
