Well then, by using God's standard, the Ten Commandents, you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous adulterer at heart.
Judging by these answers, would you say your eternal destiny going to be? In other words, will you go to heaven or hell?

black_cat19

If we use this idiotic logic everyone (you included) is going to hell because everybody has done one of those things. And blasphemous? Please it's not a crime if the victim doesn't exist.

Aye, you are exactly correct. We would all be going to hell. However, God provided a way - through His son, Jesus Christ.
When we accept Him into our heart and repent of our sins, our sins are then covered by Christ's blood.:)

WTF?? :? I don't want to be covered by ANYONE's blood, even less by his, I can't even stand watching the guy hanging from walls all over the world, endlessly agonizing, I just CAN'T STAND cruelty, and just thinking about what took place that day makes me sick...

I am speaking spiritually, not physically. When we accept Him, our sins are covered.

How convenient.

Isn't there a part about being sorry and repenting your sins, before they are forgiven?

Crushmaster why do you cherish the bible and trust it as definite truth when it was written 2000 years ago by tribesman sitting in their caves?felixlynch777

I'm afraid I do not have time to answer that right now, so I ask that you would please look at the articles contained in this link:

I have been saved - saved by Jesus Christ, God's Son. My sins are covered in His blood, He lives in my heart, and I have repented of my sins. He is always there for me, even when others are not, and He never lets me down.
He is my Lord and King, my master and my Savior.

I fear death no longer. Because Christ lives in me.

It's quite laughable to claim "Scientific Accuracy" in the bible. The whole book is so vague that it could apply to anything.

I'd like to think so. Why do you have to belive just to be accepted in? Why can't I get in because I live my life according to christian values but I don't think there is an 'invisible puppetmaster'. Missing out if there is heaven seems unfair :p

I have read all of it, and there is nothing "vague" about it. Also, the Bible has no scientific inaccuracies in it. Many scientists have tried to prove this wrong, but all have failed.

I think it's funny how so many people are still posting, stunned because they cannot agree with Crushmaster, but their efforts are counter-productive because it only allows Crushmaster to continue activity regardless of the intelligence of his responses or of the intelligence of the other posters, thus making the thread continue onto its seemingly endless spiral only to be replaced by a new thread next week KIDS!

Social experiments are so amazing.

I've always wondered this. The christians I know and have talked about this have different opinions varying that yes, they will go to hell, and no they will not. I'm agnostic. I wasn't raised in a christian household, I wasn't raised to believe in God. I grew up in an environment that alwasys took realistic and pragmatic ways of thinking and that has definitely shaped me. It's hard for me to believe in God when there is no conrete evidence. I want to believe in God, but I can't accept him as my savior if I'm not even sure if he exists. And I know a big part of christianity is faith. But when we live in a society that is so science (realism) orientated, it's hard for me who had no religious background to accept anything but what I learned in school and life really.

So according to most christians I am going to hell. I find it rather difficult to think that a merciful God would exlude good people, or even those who are completey ignorant of christianity from heaven and allow these people to suffer an eternity in hell. How can He expect someone who grew up in a society that practiced Hinduism and polytheistic beliefs. When one is raised in that environment and was taught that those are correct beliefs, how can God punish them for being unaware of christianity or to rebel against the norm of their society when they were taught for it to be correct? I just can't comprehend exluding decent people who have difficulties in believing God when they weren't brought up in a Christian environment. You might say too bad, or they should find christianity, but do you know just how absolutely difficult it is? ...:?

this is why i dislike religion. they have these assumptions that anyone who doesn't believe in their god will burn in hell. honestly i wish religion would back off and leave non-believers alone. to me religion doesn't make sense. there is no proof of god IMO, it just seems like a cheap answer to the creation of everything and its why i don't believe in god. and i really hate the label "Atheist"

You might say too bad, or they should find christianity, but do you know just how absolutely difficult it is? ...:?

Calypto

This is why christians start putting all their beliefs in people's minds from childhood, because a kid will believe anything you tell him, and thus there's no "resistance". I've always thought brainwashing kids like that is really unfair, if this didn't happen and children were allowed to make their own minds on the matter when they got older, we would have fewer christians and more people like you.

I have read all of it, and there is nothing "vague" about it. Also, the Bible has no scientific inaccuracies in it. Many scientists have tried to prove this wrong, but all have failed.

Because raising from the dead and turning water into wine don't defy what is physically possible right?

And the world being made in 7 days, ash being turned to disease, woman being made from man's rib, man being made from dirt, dirt turning into lice, flying into heaven, people living for 100+years, talking snakes, magic apple trees, a worldwide flood, a boat with 2 kinds of every single animal on Earth on it, giants in the hills of Caanan and winged beings coming down from ladders in the sky. Seems airtight doesn't it?

All those were manipulated by a supernatural being. What he means by scientific inaccuracies is things like the earth being round, it floating in space, universe expanding etc. http://www.eternal-productions.org/101science.html

I like how they just mock you rather then try to prove you wrong.

So anything that is obviously BS you can justify by saying " god did it". That makes it easy doesn't it.

No... Anything that say's that "God did it," I justify by saying "God did it."

I've tried proving Crushmaster wrong but his closed-minded attitude makes it impossible to engage him in debate. This guy (who actually thinks the earth is flat) is beyond hope or reasoning.

Can we just have a boycott of this guy, and completely ignore him. Last time I tried to answer him I was suspended for 5 days.

So I deserve to get boycotted for answering your question and clearing your misconception? :|

Ok sure, in the Bible god did a bunch of things, which he hasnt done anymore recently for some reason. Sure. But then don't go claiming, or supporting the claim, that there is nothing in the bible that our scientific knowledge disagrees with.
