Do you tink the world will end in 2012.

I dont understand where people get the assumption that because the Mayan calender ends on that year, so does the world.

How can you be sure the prophecy is not true?

Could be that this is a dream and i wake up 2012. But other than that i don't know...
It had something to do with earths magnetic field or so.
But You can't help after being lied to so many times, to just walk away when hearing such talk.

Unfortunately you can't watch the program on their website, but this shows the schedule for it..even though it's an older program. You can at least read the summary which says the exact same thing I posted originally.

They've sensationalized the issue, and it's not like this is the only case. They're notorious for sugar-coating the past and standing on shaky ground. No credible Mesoamerican scientist is going to say that any of the hype surrounding 2012 is true.

Many are fake and I do agree that most are blind speculation, but the mayans' atsrological observations have been surprisingly accurate. All I'm saying is that life is ful of surprises and things that make little sense, and there is always that possibility that the 2012 predictions hold water.

I suppose we will just have to wait and see.

Not by like some holy power, but maybe a nuclear war who knows.

Well the Muslims are taking over the world. In fifty years, England will be a predomint Muslim country. The fertility rate in Englend is....1.2 while muslims there are like 8.6 this means soon there will be plenty of muslims, but no English, because they are not having enough childeren. Canada is in the same boat. America s around 2.2. the Way to kepp healthily growing is 2.1. So America needs to be carefull.

What I've read from scientific research is that the sun is currently expanding. It will continue to d oso and will completely engulfe the Earth, as they say. From measurements Idon't know how they took some long time ago compared to todays tests shows that it may be growing. But, the Earth will be either destroyed or something else before our sun fizzles.

Something insane might happen, there are so many different people from all different beliefs claiming something will happen. Hopefully Terence Mckenna's Novelty Theory/Timewave will come true. It would be sweet to be around when humanity transcends our current state. Time travel, worldwide alien contact, a conscious AI, or all of them happening= AWESOME. I find Sumerian history and religion to be fascinating, and it would be cool if the Annunaki came and spoke to us......
