Well, it is written that men who lie with men will not inherit god's kingdom. Of course, that's talking about the acts of homosexuality. But really, why would a person be homosexual without thinking of doing the acts. That would be like being straight and never having plans to marry or be with the opposite sex.

Theokhoth

People do that all the time.:|

It can happen, but most kids today start having girlfriends or boyfriends from a pretty young age. If you were to tell someone that you've never had a girlfriend/boyfriend, most would probably think you're a little "strange".

And I believe a person who never gets married (or someone who isn't attracted to anyone) is another type of sexuality all together, asexuality.

No. I don't understand this "homosexuality is the worst thing in the world" mentality.

To me, there's nothing wrong with being gay Let people be what they want to be, not pretend to be something they don't want to be.

Deliberately avoiding the rules is being a mindless rebel... but conforming where it makes sense to it what any thinking person should do.

Okay then. We agree.

You may not fall under the definition, but you may as well be. Asexuals don't experience sexual attraction, so they don't get married. Of course, there's nothing stopping them from getting married even though they don't have that attraction, just like there's nothing stopping you from not getting married when you do have the attraction.

asexual means you can reproduce by yourself. I think you have that wrong.

The Wikipedia article says "Asexualitydescribes individuals who do not experience sexual attraction and is sometimes described as a sexual orientation in itself". There is a asexual reproduction, but I'm just referring to the orientation.

Just because someone doesn't get married doesn't mean they aren't attracted to someone. Maybe they just haven't found the right person or aren't finacially able to be in a relationship.

Psalms 5:5

thou hatest all workers of iniquity. 6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man."

Psalm 11:5 - The one who loves violence God hates.

Proverbs 6:16-19 - God hates liars.

4. Hosea 9:15 - He hated them.

5. Proverbs 3:32 - The perverse person is an abomination to the Lord.

6. James 4:4 - a friend of the world is an enemy of God.

This is from the bible, our union talked about gods hatred.

So yes, he hates gays, his hate is not sin though, his hate is justified, but at the same time he wants you to turn away from what he hates, and ask for forgiveness. He hates those who loves sin. Uh oh people, I think god does hate theo, he also hates this world, because this world is full of sin. I guess I am glad that I am not a friend of this world afterall, I rather be hated by people, than to be hated by an all powerful being.

The 'spill your seed' one, I can't help but laugh.

Gotta love religion, cause of so much hatred in the world.

mentalabc123

Yeah, just look at the topic I made with all the Christians constantly bashing me about my lifestyle choices.

Oh, wait. . . .

I said 'religion', not 'christians' or 'atheists'.

Religion isn't the cause for a bunch of hate. Try human nature.

Religion isn't the cause, but the excuse. For most evil/wrong acts people need an excuse or reason.

Same difference, really.

Your right, I was trying to be polite to the Christians.

In that instance you are correct. But sometimes life requires non-conforming to the rules. Say the US Revolution. They analizied the situation and decided they were not going to follow the rules and rewrote them.

Well God wanted us to be imperfect, which is why they ate from the tree. Our human race is totally imperfect, and this is the exact thing God and Jesus knew would happen. The bible, is a book that's been passed from generations upon generations and anywhere within that time, somebody could've easily rewritten what they "felt" Jesus said about the gay community. Again that's imperfection right there.

My true beliefe is that He loves us all and that he wants us to experience life and bring these experiences to Him. How do we REALLY know that He doesn't agree with homosexuality. He KNEW it would happen, and if he didn't agree upon it, he would've designed that fruit to compensate for what he really wanted, yet He didn't, so He is getting exactly what he wanted...a human race with their own opinion and lifestyle.

I don't know. Because some people feel the need to completely separate themselves from homosexuality to prove that they arent gay?

Idk.

Also , consider this, the word gay is often used as an insult. Hell, me and my friends use it to describe inanimate objects that have earned our dissaproval all the time, and i can tell you, the majority of teenagers and young adults use the word gay in a negative term.

It is also still censored in many forums. This insinuates that the word is "bad".

and we all hate "bad" things, dont we.

Hmm.. that's easily the worst argument against homosexuality that I have ever seen.
Another post in a different thread asked why people don't get bored.. it's creative posts like these that keep away the boredom.

So because of the fact that homosexuals have been branded by a term that was once used to describe someone or something that is giddy, which is now used to describe something as bad or unfavorable, that same definition can somehow be attributed to the definition of homosexuality?

So basically it's a definition by proxy. Did you explain anywhere in there as to how that's supposed to make any goddamn sense? I mean, I don't care about whether or not you accept homosexuality, but your justification for it is horribly shaky.

So is the "N" word. Should we all be racists as well?

That's a terrible argument. We all hate mentally and physically disabled people too, don't we? I mean retard is still a common insult and phrase. People manipulate vocabulary for their own gain, and it catches on in social networks until it reaches popularity. I mean, back in the 1940's, cool was a word used primarily to describe temperature. In the 80's, the word bad could very well mean something was good. Seriously. Weak argument.

Please, try harder next time.

I dont think god likes gays, gays are counterproductive.

COUNTERPRODUCTIVE.

imo ofcourse.

Funky_Llama

Counterproductive to what? Human growth? In that case I suppose God hates kids, and anyone who's sterile, and anyone who doesn't have kids. Oh, and Jesus. And monks, and nuns.

good point.

Maybe i just want to believe that God hates gays, as im against them myself.

Call me narrow minded, but i just dont like the whole concept of gays, and i dont support it or want to have to see it.

It IS an abnormality no matter what anyone says, and personally i am too narrow minded to put up with it.

Oh, look, the naturalistic fallacy. How depressingly predictable. Ugh... if you're going to be wrong, at least be wrong in some original, imaginative way.

Hey hey hey, im trying to be as respectful here as i can, please dont say my views are "wrong", i just dont like to have to see men holding hands in public. I have as much of a right to dislike it, as you have to support it.

Yknow there is logic behind even the most seemingly illogical things...ever wondered why being gay was classed as breaking the law a few hundred years ago? Yeah, cause it isnt a necessarily a GOOD thing. You could say to me that we dont live to reproduce or whatever, but the facts are, we were given reproductive organs to USE them, and if there is no God, our children in this world will be the only things that mean anything after our deaths.

But behind all that rubbish the sad truth remains; i just dont like to see men holding hands. I just dont.

I find this hilarious for reasons I refuse to mention.

What? Have I fallen prey to the naturalistic fallacy? Or am I wrong in a boring way? Tell me!

You have not fallen prey to the fallacy, nor are you boring. I won't tell.;)
