Why would it? Most gay people, like most straight people, keep themselves to themselves. Despite what lots of narrow-minded people think, not every gay person subscribes to an underground alternative culture and lifestyle that involves gay bars and strange fetishes. A large number are the same as straight people, they just have relationships with people of the same sex as opposed to those of the opposite. The main factor in dividing gays and straights is the lack of acceptance among some groups. If being gay was actually accepted to be as normal as being straight, people wouldn't notice as much, and it would be overlooked in most cases.

It's more people coming out of the woodwork instead of it spreading. I mean, when people are scared and threatened into restricting themselves based on society's regulations, and then those regulations are cleared...obviously people are going to feel more free and will be more public about it.
Kids always experiment like that. Now, though, some who have come to realise they're gay/bisexual/lesbian won't have the historical obstacles in front of them anymore. They'll be able to accept themselves and be able to be more at ease.

That isn't as much the case in all of the world. Europe is generally more liberal than the US, which in turn is more liberal than most (if not all) of the Middle East. Well, the way i see it, im just as right as the people defending the gays, if they can honestly think its a completely natural thing and should be widely accepted, i wonder will they consider other forms of "sexual deviances", if you will, to be as widely accepted and welcomed into modern day society as homosexuality? oh and publicly displayed infront of them/their children and their families mind you.

Modern christians understand the fact that the book was written by man, and attitudes to stuff like this was very different 2000 years ago. The bible says a lot of stuff that people would laugh at, and say 'Well, that's just stupid'.

That is called tolerance, I'd have a dayjob to get rid of all the people that bother me. slow people, narrow minded people....there are lots of them! And what would your solution be to deal with the people that are bothering you? I find it really stupid that it's perfectly normal for a guy and a girl to slobber each other in public. But when my boyfriend and I are holding hands it's "why do they have to make it so obvious, stupid gays". I just....really, don't understand this. What does it harm anyone if I hold hands with my boyfriend? I'm good enough to have a job, I'm good enough to pay taxes....but I can't hold hands?! So long as the law accepts it as legal, and so long as people respect that, I really don't care if people aren't "open minded enough to accept" homosexuality. It's the freaks who take matters into their own hands and hurt/kill homosexuals(and others they feel aren't worthy of life) that I care/worry about.

In many cases People are narrow minded for a reason, in this case, the reason for this is that homosexuality is , as i said before, a direct opposite notion to our most basic of biological purposes. THIS ISNT A GOOD THING. It isnt a good thing that should be supported or publicly accepted. In my opinion and in the opinion of many other people, otherwise we wouldnt be having this discussion right now.
