[QUOTE="DeathScape666"][QUOTE="Sajedene"] What exactly is it you are saying? That there are rules to society -- how a mom can be hot BUT she CANT wear a bikini? Kind of contradictory there are we now... You keep saying that I put words into your mouth but you keep contradicting what I am saying and this is exactly what I am saying. So if you contradict it, that is what you are agreeing to! If anything -- what is it exactly do you think then that you are so against what I am saying?Sajedene

How can a mom be hot, but not be allowed to wear a bikini? I've seen many attractive women out there, and I've never seen them in a bikini. Couldn't you say, "A mom can be hot, but she's not allowed to go stripping?" She can still seem attractive without revealing her entire body. What am I saying? Certainly not what you are lying about. I'm saying that there are more reasons than not to want your mom to wear a bikini. Maybe the person may not want to see other men lust after his own mother because she is already married? Sure, you could say the child's fears are silly and that the mother should be allowed to do what she wants since she's a grown woman, but the child still has a right to be scared. Maybe he doesn't want anyone else coming into his life. You see there? There's more reasons than just not wanting a mom to be "hot." Hell, I could name several more, but you get the picture. Also, the TC clearly stated that he feels uncomfortable when his friends make fun of him for it, as someone pointed out earlier.

First off, Wasn't lying about anything. I go with what I have gotten on this thread.

Second, stripping doesn't equate to hotness -- as there are A LOT of ugly strippers out there and no one forbids them from stripping. A bikini will NOT stop anyone from lusting over someone they want to lust over. So putting the blame on the bikini is silly. What? Should you not allow them to wear skirts, tight sweaters, etc?

You say you've seen plenty of attractive out there -- in what setting? Go to the beach and then come talk to me.

If the Mom walked around in a bikini ALL DAY LONG with no other reason than to flaunt herself then its a problem. But if she wears it poolside or to get a tan -- then let her. If the friends are being immature about it -- then he should talk to his friends.

1. 'Kay, don't group my opinion with everybody elses.' 2. I never said hotness=stripping. I was just replacing "bikini" with "stripping" in what you said before. 3. In every setting. Anywhere I go, except for the boys' locker room. 4. Now I'm going to use your logic: What? You find it wrong for women to flaunt their body around? Mothers -- and all women alike -- should be allowed to do whatever the hell they want -- as long as it goes by what I have to say. Women should be able to do what they want -- if you disagree with this, it's because you are a close minded little boy.

Dont want anyone to apologize. But if you guys are truly in a bubble of sexism then let me be the one to enlighten you :roll:Sajedene

You already tried and that fell flat on its face. That was the reason for my initial sarcastic comment. How dare I say that you are not right. How sexist of me.

[QUOTE="DeathScape666"][QUOTE="_______1_______"] Hello there. :) I sure you know this already, but the only people who look down upon something such as a beautiful human female figure left free to be gazed upon by the eyes of others, and to be gently kissed by the sunlight, are the men who wish they could enjoy the company of such a woman, or a woman who wishes she could exhibit the same grace and confidence. :)W1ckedGo0se
...You're weird...

...You're Sad... Its kinda sad that your uncomftorable with someone wearing a Bikini... You can kinda grow up/ be mature?

I personally don't care if they wear a bikini or not. But society does. Just letting you know how the majority of people feel, and how I can understand that.

Hi again. :) I had sensed that you may respond with such words. We both know where you are in life. Regardless, I am gladdened by your brief, yet poignant analysis of myself. It is somewhat accurate, concerning the amount of background you had on me before you stated such. Keep trucking along, my friend. :)

I see... So what do you think of gay people and sexism?

Hi again. :) Young man, I'm sure you're aware of this already. Perhaps you have simply forgotten, temporarily of course, but it is practically impossible for you to know how the majority of society feel about anything, since our society is comprised of billions of people, and you couldn't possibly know them all. Realistically, you know less than 1% of society, personally. Keep in mind also that many people hide their true feelings, and may say one thing when they really mean another, as a way of protecting themselves from persecution. So, even if you had a study that polled every member of society, on how they feel on such an issue, inaccuracy would still be a significant problem, as most answers given would not be truthful. :)

Okay, this same society that created the word MILF? I'm pretty sure if you go buy some magazines, go turn on your tv, or go to the beach -- you will see that this society you speak off has probably the population of GS males. Funny enough -- these same gamespot males who if shown say the picture of Heidi Klum in a bikini would be like OMFG MILF.

Hello again. :) To answer your question, gay people, I'm assuming you mean homosexuals and not happy people, are just another type of human being. It is neither right or wrong, inherently. I really don't understand your motivation behind such a question, by I did my best anyway. Sexism simply comes from a misunderstanding, and the resulting friction, between the two sexes. As we evolve closer and closer to the end of this game we call life, we will come to understand more of the differences between each other, and this problem we call sexism will fade away. :)

Your saying society does not except mature women wearing bikini's.... This just tells me you don't know much about anything out side of your age group (can I ask how old you are to prove a point?)... Have you heard the Terms Milf, Cougar, and all that type of stuff ( can't post any links to help you out, but either you'll understand or you'll miss this)... Hello there. :) I'd just like to remind you of something that you probably already know, but must have temporarily lost sight of. Pornography is simply a voyueristic version of the sexual desires we all hold within us naturally. It's how pornography came to be to begin with. It's not that our society is addicted to pornography, but rather, our species as a whole has a natural interest in sex. An interest that is undeniably strong, due to it's necessity for survival and sanity, and therefore it has become, by necessity, the focal point of most of our thoughts. The acts that have eventually evolved from this interest, which confused people have mistakenly labelled as perversion, are simply by-products of our interest in sex, evolving to greater heights, through exploration, and exercising our tendencies to be creative within the activities we enjoy. But you probably knew that already. :)

Hi again. :) There is no need to look up to me, as everything you need to succeed in life, you already have. I only feel the need to offer friendly reminders from time to time, when people have temporarily lost sight of what's immediately before them. There is no need to be scared of me, as I am an extension of you, as you are of me. We are all one and the same, part of the same network of energy. The game I am here to play with you all, is the game of life itself.

Hello there. :) I appreciate the kind words from you as well. Proper grammar and spelling are definately of the utmost importance, once you realize that we depend on our created language to communicate with each other, and communication is a vital component of human existence itself. It seems you have realized the same, as your post above is free from any grammatical errors. I can only say, keep up the good work. :)

Maybe this will sum up many of our opinions.

A mother (and father's) first responsibility is to their children, not themselves. This topic is not a "should my mom wear a bikini?" thread, this is a topic discussing the kid's uncomfortable situation because his mom is being selfish by not taking into account her child's feelings.

I'll leave it at that.

If a parent catered to a child's every uncomfortable whim (oh I mean feelings) that is how a child becomes spoiled. He's uncomfortable because his friends make remarks about his mother in a bikini. Well then he should talk to his friends. And as 1 posted -- he finds it uncomfortable as well because he is realizing his sexuality and has become aware of his mom's sexual appeal. Do you honestly think a parent should still hold their kid's hand when it comes to that?

Hello there. :) It is not selfish for a mother to wear a bikini in front of her children. That simply doesn't make sense. It is not an issue of selfishness. She may feel comfortable wearing less conservative clothing around her family, simply because they are not going to be aroused by it. The only problem that arises is when she wears a bikini around her child, witnesses the child have an uncomfortable reaction, and then realizes she didn't do enough to teach her children that the human body is nothing to be ashamed of, or disgusted with. But you probably knew that already. :)

Since everyone is arguing over whether a mother should wear a bikini, I'm going to give my thoughts. Every women, no matter what their age is, how old they are or if they are a parent, has the right to her own body and can do with it what she wants. But the majority of us GS users are boys in their teens or are boys that have been in their teens. Personally I don't like other men staring at my mother or my sister because its uncomfertable, most men and boys feel a sense of protection over their female relatives, as sexist as it may sound its true. They don't like strange, unknown people looking at their female relatives. I hate it when people go, "Dude your sister is really hot" or "Your mother is a MILF". I don't like them looking at my sister or mother in that way, so when we go the beach or the pool I don't like seeing my mother in a bikini, cos I don't want to see other men looking at her.

Your use of the line 'But you probably knew that already' coupled with your manner of speech (text-speech that is) reminds me of a fictional character who I cannot quite place... I'm inclined to think it is a character from Final Fantasy 10 though I could be wrong.. How about I just ask you if you model your forum-self after some character or other.. or am I just completely wrong?

My mom is in her 40s and she occasionally wears a bikini to the beach/pool. I hate it when I am with my friends at the beach/pool and my mom is there wearing a bikini, they always try to sit next to her and stuff to piss me off. Screw them, some of their mom's wear bikinis also but not many. Luckily now she doesn't come to the beach with us so it's only when they come over to swim in our pool, but not if my dad is there.GTA_Fan360

[QUOTE="sonic_spark"][QUOTE="Sajedene"] And you wrote the book on how mom's should act? How does a bikini affect someone's parenting skills? And I guess you missed his other thread on his mom getting a belly piercing. And OMG that affects a mom's parenting skills too! What exactly is a mom role? Are you a mom? A mom can't be sexy? So should they be fat? Or god forbid they're not allowed to let go of themselves either.Sajedene

1.) I never said it affected her parenting skills.

2.) I didn't miss the belly piercing, nor do I think that affects their parenting skills.

3.) No, I'm not a mom.

4.) Yes, a mom can be sexy or fat, whatever she prefers.

Don't get me wrong, just because a man and woman have children does not "end their life". But there is a fine line to what is acceptable. For example, I'm 22. If my mom went to the same night clubs I went to and got smashed, that would be unacceptable.

Any person in a an authoritative, or leadership role need to walk a fine line. A mom gains something when they have a child, but sacrifices something as well, and that is the freedom they observed as a single adult. This goes the same for fathers as well.

But this in this particular circumstance, the bikini and the belly button piercing sounds a bit excessive and is evidently bothering the child. The mother (like any other authoritative, parental, etc. role) needs to be mindful of her actions.

That's all I'm saying.

I've never gone to a bar with my mom but we've drank together at other occassions? Is that acceptable or unacceptable to you? You know what bothers me? My mom's accent. She should definitely be mindful of that -- its so embarassing. If her car is embarassing she should go get a new car too right? What if her job embarassed me? Or her weight? Should she be mindful of that all for the sake of me? Sounds like I'm such a selfish child if I forbid my mom to wear a bikini she looks good in or have a simple belly piercing because I have personal issues with it.

What the hell are you talking about? I predict this thread is soon to be about religion or something. It has derailed. Moms shouldn't behave as sluts because they are ****** mothers and if they give such an example to their children then we're doomed. Let alone the awkwardness a son would feel if his mother behaved like a prostitute in front of him and in front of his friends.

And I'm not talking about the bikini thing. Any mother have the "right" to wear a bikini etc. Of course some mothers shouldn't because that could be a disgusting thing to look at.(aka self respect) Having said that, even fat or way-too-old-for-bikini mothers have the freedom to wear a bikini. It's not about laws or anything like that. How complicated is this for you to understand? :|

Your mother and you have drunk at bars? That's cool. She's a cool mother. Did you get wasted and got high with your mother? No that's not cool. (I'm not talking about you particularly.) A 40 yo mature woman shouldn't act like a 20 yo woman. If you can't understand why ask your mother.

[QUOTE="Sajedene"]Ok, first off -- we get it. You got a hot mom. Thanks for sharing. Pics or it didnt happen. Second -- if I ever have kids, I hope they're not as uptight as you. Can't wear belly piercings, and now you have a problem with her wearing a bikini? Sajedene

Belly-button piercings aren't something a mom should wear.

Oh really? I didnt know there was a law against that. Darn -- all these moms I know should get arrested or something. I didnt know that motherhood is so affected by piercings, tattoos, and heck, even bikinis.

Try to look at the situation from more than one point of view. I'm sure a young boy wouldn't be thrilled by his mom walking around his friends half naked and with a belly button piercing.

No, but if she wanted to it wouldn't really bother me though i doubt many mothers have the stomach for it to pull a bikini off well with stretch marks an such.

No she does not. My mother and I both despise water and beaches so there is really no place to wear one in her life.

[QUOTE="dracula_16"]

[QUOTE="Sajedene"]Actually this is like part 2 of the whole situation -- this started in his piercings thread. I just find it hilarious that a bunch of boys doesnt think its acceptable for a mom to wear a bikini or get a piercing-- because they speak for "majority" of society. Well guess what -- here is one dissenter, a girl, and she is telling you all -- they can, they should if they could, and they will. Sajedene

It was an opinion based thread and you twisted it into something it wasn't. Seems like you want most to apologize for having an opinion because we're just little boys who can't think outside of our bubble of sexism. Forgive us for not being enlightened

Dont want anyone to apologize. But if you guys are truly in a bubble of sexism then let me be the one to enlighten you

You can twist it into a feminist debate, but what it comes down to is that lads do not like men being attracted to there mother.

Props to your mom. If she feels comfortable walking around in a bikini, more power to her! You might not want her to wear a bikini, but mothers like to feel like they are still women every once in a while, give her a break and let her be TC :(

Only using what was originally posted.

But thank you to you and Dark Sithious and xTheExploited. That is the HONEST answer -- not the whole ew mom in a bikini society frowns on it crap. Which is exactly what I already said and ___1___ said as well -- its not an issue with the mom wearing a bikini -- but your own individual issue with your self and how you perceive the females in your family. So telling them NOT to wear a bikini is just projecting and targeting the wrong issue.

I wouldn't but the just the sight is too much for me. All I want to see from my mom is just a pretty dress and a face. I don't know if that's twisted or narrowmindedness or too broadmindedness or whatever....just no.

Oh god, I shouldn't've posted in this thread... >_> I have like an anti-complex. Anything with sex and family I find disgusting. So when I see my mom barely dressed I want to run away, far. I know barely dressed isn't related to sex and I don't get any visions...but... I... just... don't like.
