I don't think anyone who is posting in here really cares about left for dead right now. It's just a title.

Eating meats is understandable, because it's what we do. Beating animals for the fun of it, is not.

Well, a Rhino has a horn yes, and humans have tools, but lets leave out the tools, and go with natural body parts. The physical elements. We have fists, and we have feet, we can kick, we can punch, or we can choke. depending on the size of the animal. But still, this is terribly wrong. Shame on that bastard.

Terrible...but let's keep in mind that it's a dog. Last time there was a thread about a dog being kicked by some soldiers all the compassionate animal lovers wanted the soldiers killed. FragStains

Sounds fair to me, just because it can't speak doesn't mean it should suffer.

[QUOTE="yucky_straw"] I value a dog's life way more than a person's life who is capable of doing this. The dog will probably never hurt anyone or anything through it's entire life. The person will probably do this to many more dogs or people. The dog lives. And the person is killed. The world is a better place. Jandurin

The only time you can suspect animal cruelty, is when the animal cowars away from the person. but it may not be animal cruelty. It's hard to spot animal cruelty, but when someone finds it, that person responsible, is really chewed out, and he/she deserves it.

Why humans will eat meats of other animals, is completely natural. Ever hear of a little thing called The Food Chain? Of course slaughtering a cow may be wrong in the first place, but it is what we do. Beating animals for the fun of it should not be what we do.

How about this. Man's best friend with man, goes to a park. one hour later, man leaves. Man's best friend is on the ground struggling to stay alive.

you see, what ever happened to the line a dog is a man's best friend? To me, it starting to look like, A man, is a dog's worst nightmare.

I think humanity is stupid. But all I ever hear is how humanity is superior and that we should be allowed to have our way with animals quite simply because we can. If we're so great, we should exercise a little compassion as you put it.

I just dont understand how people can reply with "Its just a dog".......it is a living being that deserves to be treated just as good as a human. I don't get this whole "Humans deserve better treatment" crap.....Dogs are just as loving and caring as humans, and even with the case of crazy, unsafe dogs.....there just happens to be some pretty crazy and unsafe humans. No human would ever deserve this, and no dog, cat, or any other animal deserves this either. And I agree, what this man did to this dog should happen to him. His life is no more important than the life of that dog. How do I know this?......Well, lets start with the fact HE BEAT A DOG WITH A HAMMER

You took the words right out of my mouth. I hate humanity. They act so superior to everything else. but truely, humanity isn't. Humanity only got to that level by cheating, with weapons. all the little and big creatures have to use what's natural. I hate humans.

[QUOTE="SolidSnake35"][QUOTE="loco145"] If we're so great, we should exercise a little compassion as you put it.SolidSnake35
Why?

To not do so would be irrational. Might as well go back to living in caves if that's how far humanity has come.

Again, why? I don't think that the cavemen exercised much companion either ;) . We have hammers and guns, the dogs don't. It isn't our fault that the dogs don't have the brains to defend themselves.

They didn't but at least they didn't try to claim superiority either.

That is not true, at all. At least for me. I don't believe any animal deserves this. If this guy beat the crap out of an elephant with a sledgehammer.......I would be just as mad. Terrible example, but an example none the less. And you know, if this guy was defending himself from this dog because maybe the dog was attacking him, I can accept what he did. But from what has been reported, that doesn't seem to be the case.

[QUOTE="loco145"][QUOTE="yucky_straw"] I value a dog's life way more than a person's life who is capable of doing this. The dog will probably never hurt anyone or anything through it's entire life. The person will probably do this to many more dogs or people. The dog lives. And the person is killed. The world is a better place. MOCHIRON_MAN

Ya, dogs don't kill

I value an animal's life over a humans life anyday, because thes creatures known as humans, have the technology to kill without remorse. Animals do not, but animals that have the physical elements to kill say like the Rhino, it has a horn, or the Crocodile, with its jaws, those are natural things for these animals to do. it's their instinct. But Humans, they value not the lives of animals, if they so do wish to beat them, they just value their own lives. This is directed at those people who would hit an animal for the fun of it. The life on an animal is more important than the life of a human, because they [except what they have to defend themselves] are defenseless creatures that are part of our natural world. And here we are with a true story of an animal that was brutally attacked by some bastard with a hammer.

It's shameful. This person to even think about doing something like that, shameful.

exactly!

the report is written in a way that automatically asks for sympathy from the reader We honestly don't know anything. It could very well be a dog they will have to put down anyway.
