To answer your question, [ This will be a shocker ] I would rather see the human suffer. Why? Because humans have dished out the most pain of all the creatures that we can physically see on this planet. most of which the pain is toward other humans, in the form of wars, bloody disputes, and other means, And they have inflicted the most pain against animals as well. Compared to inflictions of pain borught on by humans, attacks from animals, is almost nothing.

I disagree 100% - when it comes to humans vs animals, I would pick humans every time. I'm not saying we should be able to treat animals however we want, but I'd sacrifice an animal life for a human life every time. And I would sacrifice an animal's comfort for a human's comfort every time.

A dog is not more valuable than a human, a human is not more valuable than a dog. Yes, a Human is more valuable to me, since I am human, but that doesn't make it absolute fact for everything that a human is more valuable. If we were dogs, we'd think dogs are more valuable.

With that said, it is unfortunate the dog got hurt badly from a person, but it is also unfortunate when human gets really hurt from a dog. The guy that hurt the dog should be punished, but not killed or bashed in the head with a hammer :?.

the only reason any person should hurt an animal is for food, other animals do this and it is completely natural.

The only thing sicker in this subject than the dog being beaten by a hammer is the fact that people are saying human lives are worth as much or less than a dogs life. They are animals, they are stupid, they have no soul. We are better than them and we are able to do what we want to them for whatever reason. Not that I am agreeing with the original poster but dog's don't have a soul. If we are regarding souls as the biblical sense, God only gave humans souls.

I'm not saying they are worthless, i am saying they are not worth as much as humans. A human is going to be punished because this animal got hurt..it seems like the people doing the punishing are valuing the life of the dog over the human...This should never happen...they are OUR pets, and not the other way around, for a reason. I don't like that they did this at all and i don't support it, i just dont think a person should be punished for hurting a dog. But if this dog wasn't a stray, and somebody actually cared for it, i would be totally for the person getting in trouble...someones property was destroyed.

Sadly, I agree. Serious or not. :| The guy who did this needs to be punished.

What did the dog do to him?

Does the man simply hate joy?

And honestly, who the **** carries a Hammer while walking his dogs? Was he walking them for the sole purpose of letting them watch him nearly murder another dog? Or perhaps he was on his way to repair a church and give money to poor?

Also, the reason dog deaths and other such animal deaths have a stronger effect on people is because.. They're animals. Only the person killing them knows weather or not they were vicious, or trying to kill the "Attacker." Well, I guess the dog could be tested for rabies after death.. But still. Generally, we assume the dog was helpless & doing nothing.

While if a human was killed, well, there are lots of humans like this sick... I won't censor it again. But you catch my drift, right?
