My bro went to Dubai few weeks ago, he says its awesome but the Arab people suck + not all of Dubai is like that,most of it is still good ol' Middle easternish :D

It's because of places like Dubai that our planet is going down hill.

Sure, those building are nice and all, but they are made by slaves in all practicality, who get paid only a few dollars an hour for extremely dangerous work.

Secondly, the money used to pay for all this was stolen from the citizens... all of the money from the oil in those countries goes to only a few people. The workers get paid nothing, and live in poor "developing" nations... they live like the stereotyped African slave.

Thirdly, they are tossing around energy from oil like it's an unlimited resource. They have a god damn indoor ski hill. In the middle of a god damn desert. WTF?

Lastly, it's not a city, just a tourist attraction.The only the rich citizens that are in the oil business can afford to even live there. The workers live in small town around Dubai, poor as all hell.

We sit thinking how wonderful this is, and yet we wonder why our planet is screwing up so quickly?

What I think he's trying to say, is that the architecture contains no culture, and is just simple modern wash-over from some hired designer. That and it was all made with oil money and slave labour in all practicality. But see my last post to see why Dubai is such a terrible place, albeit good looking.

I know thats why I said Arab people suck coz my bro saw how they treat all the people working for them, Most of their workers are Pakistani and Indian and my bro says they treat em so badly its just sad
