At the Edge of Time - Blind Guardian Mostly because I'm a Blind Guardian fangirl
SeraphimGoddess
Oh yeah, it was an amazing album, IMHO almost as good as A Twist in the Myth and i love that album too.
Hmm... Well probably the Steve Mason's Boy's Outside has got the most airplay, High Violet by The National (although that has now unfortunately been resigned to being my 'break up' album and is sadly associated (quite aptly) with a rather dark period) and The Sleeper by The Leisure Society. Janelle Monet's The ArchAndroid has got a fair spin too as has Arcade Fire.
The most played CD however has probably been Lvin' The Nightlife - New York 80s garage. Highly recommendable - the complier has plucked some great underground classics here...
Not saying these are the best, just my favorites..
Bring me the Horizon - There is a hell, believe me I've seen it. There is a heaven let's keep it a secret.
A Day to Remember - What Separates me from You.
Parkway Drive - Deep Blue
Eminem - Recovery
I honestly cannot pick one favourite album of the year at the moment, I found that 2010 was excellent for releases, and I discovered quite a few older albums which I am now in love withblack_tempestLoving the pic. :) And my three favourite albums released this year were S*** Computer by Kids and Explosions, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West, and Gemini by Wild Nothing.
I don't have a favorite but I really like these albums that came out this year
Kanye West: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Kid Cudi: Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager
Camila : Dejarte de Amar
Belanova: Sueno Electro I
Gorillaz : Plastic Beach
Brandon Flowers: Flamingo
Juanes: P.A.R.C.E.
Aleks Syntek: Metodos de Placer Instantaneo
Diamond Eyes by Deftones
Danger Days: True life of the fabulous Killjoys by My Chemical Romance
There is a hell believe me i've seen it, there is a heaven lets keep it a secret by Bring Me The Horizon

if their singer still sounds like a 13 year old girl then how can you say they are good?
[QUOTE="daleerin24"]This. Linkin Park forever!!!!!A Thousand Suns by Linkin Park

I honestly don't know how anyone can like the new albums, I mean they got like a couple of decent, but not spectacular songs on there, but the rest is just trash, it in no way can compare to the old Linkin Park. I'm not one to bash changes in direction, accuse groups of 'selling out', or anything like that, but their older albums are really much better. I didn't even complain about Minutes to Midnight, a lot of people didn't like the 'new direction', but I thought the LP sty1e was still there and strong, I liked it even, but A Thousand Suns doesn't feel like LP at all, I listened to many of the songs and I was like "this is LP?!" It didn't sound like LP. The many fillers on the album were terrible too.
By FAR.
One of the best ever recorded. I'm in fact going through a major band obsession thanks to this album. It's Marrow of the Spirit by Agalloch by the way. Not that it matters though. Nobody's going to check it out

Actually...I acquired this album a few weeks ago after hearing you and Bluestorm-Kalas talking about how great it was. Haven't really given it a proper listen though.

Thanks man! :) Lay awake in the dark and give it a careful listen. It will change the way you see music for the rest of your life. :P
My fav has definitely been Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. One of my fav bands and they managed to put out their 2nd best album ever (Waking the Fallen being my fav of course).
While the cd kinda loses steam at the end, songs like Buried Alive, Natural Born Killer, and God Hates Us are just phenominal. I was actually really surprised by how good the CD is considering the loss of the Rev, who yes is one of my fav drummers and is one of my biggest inspirations as an aspiring drummer.
Honorable mentions go to Recovery, The Bloody Pit of Horror, and Danger Days: True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
