It is not rape. Rape is sexual penetration in some form. Kissing doesn't constitute rape even if it was forced. It is sexual assault. Even so, it did happen over 60 years ago, and he had just come back from a WW2 campaign so his mind is guaranteed to be a little messed up.

Actually it's not. Untill she comes out saying she felt attacked/taken advantage of it is not sexual assault, and quite frankly she has had DECADES to come out with such feelings if she actually did have them.

I always try to be understanding and respectful of others' people viewpoints. If said viewpoints aren't properly justified I still try to be respectful but being understanding becomes harder, although it never hurts to try. With attitudes like yours, instead, I can't help but laugh out loud.
