That reminds me of another example of something stupid they've tried to say...that we should strive to be especially offensive, ESPECIALLY if it means that someone is gonna get hurt.

One episode they offended me.

The cartoon wars one.

Where they have jesus at the end pooping on everyone. Yet they didn't show muhammed, kinda unfair.

But the shows are still funny and awsome altogether.

Do you really think comedy central would allow them to use muhammed after what the muslims did after the Danish cartoons? They showed jesus to show that if its ok to show him, it should be ok to show muhammed.

Except muhammed would of only been standing and handing over some thing to peter. They went way overboard with Jesus, but hey, i can be offended but i won't do anything about it.

I welcome South Park's ability to push the envelope with little fear of the consequences. I think that the whole point to South Park is to offend you so much that you finally just start laughing at the absurdity of it all.

Yeah, when I have a son, I'm gonna teach him that it's okay to smoke crack sometimes, just as long as he doesn't go overboard.

They cited violent retribution as a reason why they SHOULD offend Muslims. As in, if they censor themselves because of recent developments, they're somehow giving in to the enemy.

Of course, it's REAL easy to adhere to such ideals when it is SOMEONE ELSE who is ****ing getting hurt.

I'm posting here without reading the rest of the topic, but whatever.

Well, I haven't seen much, being a person generally offended by language and sexual content. Of course, what I have seen, buried the crude and immature humor is intelligent satire.
