it has never offended me, I welcome a show that doesnt give a crap what is a sensitive subject and what isnt.Film-Guy
Im secure with who I am, so no.
[QUOTE="Film-Guy"][QUOTE="MrGeezer"]It's never offended me, but they've voiced some pretty ****ing stupid opinions before.
MrGeezer
Like what?
For example, I recall one episode where the "big message" was that alcoholics shouldn't abstain from drinking.
I don't remember that one.
NO because It a tv show and if you are offended you are really just insecure Alexdehman234
That reminds me of another example of something stupid they've tried to say...that we should strive to be especially offensive, ESPECIALLY if it means that someone is gonna get hurt.

Usually they are more subtle than that, I doubt they just came out and said that.
Never. Im not all whiney like all the Scientologists out there.
Though, in 4rd grade, when i saw the Scott Tennerman episode, i was a little disturbed. Lmao, i got over it. Its not that bad now.
One episode they offended me.
The cartoon wars one.
Where they have jesus at the end pooping on everyone. Yet they didn't show muhammed, kinda unfair.
But the shows are still funny and awsome altogether.

Congragulations, you totally missed the point of that episode.

Do you really think comedy central would allow them to use muhammed after what the muslims did after the Danish cartoons? They showed jesus to show that if its ok to show him, it should be ok to show muhammed.

Except muhammed would of only been standing and handing over some thing to peter. They went way overboard with Jesus, but hey, i can be offended but i won't do anything about it.

no the message was that it's ok to have a few drinks but don't go overboard. Don't be a lush and don't run away from all alcohol.

and missed point #2. Their point was everything should be ok to be made fun of or nothing will be. The year before that season, the Catholic Church was able to have one of the South Park episodes taken off the air because it was deemed offensive, and then a Scientology one was taken off the air, and then they couldn't post a picture of Muhammed even though they've made the character before in a much more offensive way.

They couldnt control the muhammed situation, I thought the jesus thing was hilarious.

Comedy central made them do that. Do you seriously think South park is afraid of offending anyone?[QUOTE="MrGeezer"][QUOTE="Film-Guy"][QUOTE="MrGeezer"]It's never offended me, but they've voiced some pretty ****ing stupid opinions before.

Yeah, that's what I just said.
They obviously don't know a ****ing thing about drug addiction.
Yeah, when I have a son, I'm gonna teach him that it's okay to smoke crack sometimes, just as long as he doesn't go overboard.
It's a stupid ****ing message, plain and simple, and they ought to be ashamed of themselves for ever saying something so completely moronic.

They cited violent retribution as a reason why they SHOULD offend Muslims. As in, if they censor themselves because of recent developments, they're somehow giving in to the enemy.
Of course, it's REAL easy to adhere to such ideals when it is SOMEONE ELSE who is ****ing getting hurt.

so alcohol is an illegal drug?
Stupid ****ing Thing #3: Global warming is an imaginary man/bear/pig monster created by Al Gore to make himself seem important. That was hilarious, and yes,yes it was.
