Yeah. I served 4 years in the Army. Don't regret it.LJS9502_basicThat's impressive. Did you have better luck with women moreso than before you went in?
But with the British basic training you would be super fit! I thought your goal was to shed the poundage? No.
Mainly for all the running you got to do.

Yeah, I hear ya. Some people just don't respond to that kind of thing.I was very close to enlisting and starting down the special forces career path. BranKetraWhat specific unit were you looking into?
[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Yeah. I served 4 years in the Army. Don't regret it.Sedin44Is your 4 years the cumulative of your playing time of COD 1, 2 & 3 or did you have to serve some of that time in SOCOM and Ghost Recon too?
Lol
I personally never thought about joining the military primarily because I do not believe in the current wars and would not want to risk my life for such causes. I strongly respect those that do risk their lives everyday though. Huge sacrifice for both themselves and their loved ones.
Do not join the military because you want to get girls.
If you want to get girls, just work out. Or develop some confidence.
While I have never been a part of it myself, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the military is not eHarmony.

Maybe I should join the Air Force, their uniforms look better and more stylish. Plus their jobs look like more fun.slowpokebroDepends on the job.....though those I knew said promotions were slower. Not sure if that still holds true.....

Since when is the Army the only part of the military?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't read a single post here saying someone is too scared to enlist until you brought it up.BranKetra
LOL. I meant to type idiots. Oops.
I would love to be able to represent my country, but the US doesn't need my slow, weak a** to get in the way of the good soldiers.
The military is great for building confidence but if you are hoping it will get you laid then you're joining for the wrong reason. Don't get me wrong, people do get laid due to the uniform. But nine times out of ten, those girls who are sleeping with you just because you're in the military are just after your money.
