Their is no proof. That's why its called faith. If God just came down and said "Hey, I'm real," every one would believe in him just to reap the rewards. And I don't know why Atheists try so hard to disprove him, current Christianity doesn't hurt anyone.

Here's proof that the Triforce exists:

Proof that the three Goddesses exist:

Proof that the Lifestream exists:

I believe I've made my point.

Nevermind that people have known for thousands of years that the world is not flat, and the Bible makes no such claim.

Well, it says the Earth is only 6000 years old. Albeit it does so indirectly (dating Adam and Eve relative to King David), but it still does, and people have acknowledged that for years.

Nevermind that people have known for thousands of years that the world is not flat, and the Bible makes no such claim.

Isaiah 11:12
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH. (KJV)

Revelation 7:1
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (KJV)

Job 38:13
13 That it might take hold of the ENDS OF THE EARTH, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? (KJV)

Jeremiah 16:19
19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ENDS OF THE EARTH, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. (KJV)

Daniel 4:11
11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the ENDS OF ALL THE EARTH: (KJV)

Matthew 4:8
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; (KJV)

Astronomical bodies are spherical, and you cannot see the entire exterior surface from any place. The kingdoms of Egypt, China, Greece, Crete, sections of Asia Minor, India, Maya (in Mexico), Carthage (North Africa), Rome (Italy), Korea, and other settlements from these kingdoms of the world were widely distributed.

The flat Earth is established and can never move?! The Sun hurries back to where it rises?!

The Psalm 104:5 and Ecclesiastes 1:5 verses from the Bible in this section were sent to me by Abdullah Bisyir; may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him.

"He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 104:5)"

"The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world [The deceiving translators should've said "earth", not "world"] is firmly established; it cannot be moved. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 93:1)"

"Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns." The world [Again, the deceiving translators should've said "earth", not "world"] is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 96:10)"

"The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. (From the NIV Bible, Ecclesiastes 1:5)"

The Earth has pillars?!

"He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble. (From the NIV Bible, Job 9:6)"

"Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand. (From the NIV Bible, Job 38:4)"

The Earth has Edges?!

"that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? (From the NIV Bible, Job 38:13)"

"He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven and sends it to the ends of the earth. (From the NIV Bible, Job 37:3)"

"for he views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. (From the NIV Bible, Job 28:24)"

"Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea. (From the NIV Bible, Job 11:9)"

The creator did not create us so we can TRY to find out if the creator is real and exists-that IS religion = NOT be able to determine the existence of the creator BUT have FAITH that the creator exists..that is THE point of the creation....

Again, I said indirectly. It dates Adam and Eve relative to King David, who we can actually date. And the Jewish year is about the same as the Gregorian, so your logic is falling apart.

The Bible says that there have been approximately (by the way, these dating methods have been proven flawed, considering that the genealogies between Adam and David do not always mean that a father made a son; sometimes it's great-grandson) 6-20,000 years between the creation of Adam and the birth of David. It doesn't say the Earth itself is young.

Still, the Bible's idea of the Earth's age is very, very far off. This was written by people hundreds of years ago, when they didn't have the resources to find out enough about the world around them to make a wholly accurate theory.

The Christian Bible consists of the Hebrew scriptures, which have been called the Old Testament, and some later writings known as the New Testament. Some groups within Christianity include additional books as part one or both of these sections of their sacred writings – most prominent among which are the biblical apocrypha or deuterocanonical books.wiki

First off the bible would not be accurate because it is not written by god but by imperfect humans trying to understand the words of god. Second off, after multiple translations and versions excerpts are left out, mistranslated and new stuff gets put in. I'm not trying to bash Christianity but anyone who believes every word of it and follows it to the letter are really ignorant to the fact it is as flawed as the humans who wrote it.

Hmm, let's see: the Old Testament is also referred to as the Torah. The Torah is the holy document of the Jewish people. Therefore, Jews wrote the Bible (oddly offensive sounding, not trying to go that way). And Christianity, to an extent, is essentially a sect of Judaism that accepts Jesus as their savior (other practices witheld).

*facepalm*

You are looking at it really wrong. The earth doesn't literally have corners, its referring to the cultural centers of humanity. ie, The English Empire had a stretched to the four corners of the earth.

Its not literally shaking the world foundations, that's just a figure of speech. For example, " The offensive use of nuclear weapons shook the foundations of the world." Its not literally shaking the world, its a major event or disaster.

God told a man to write what he says in a book. That's the bible. I don't know about all the mumbo jumbo you're babbling on about.

Ok, kids, to sum things up.

TC has resorted to the incredibly strong argument often used by Theists that goes something like "it is true because it is in the bible".

Well done, you are ignoring thousands of years of human improvements and taking the word of an old book that was written in less knowledgeable times as absolute truth.

[quote=wiki]The Christian Bible consists of the Hebrew scriptures, which have been called the Old Testament, and some later writings known as the New Testament. Some groups within Christianity include additional books as part one or both of these sections of their sacred writings – most prominent among which are the biblical apocrypha or deuterocanonical books.Sooshy

Because Wiki is the say all end all on if God if real or not. :|

No, but logic is, and those facts were derived using logic.

[QUOTE="Frattracide"]Interestingly enough, it also proves the world is flat. Frattracide

(KJV)

 That's a metaphor that we still use today!

Revelation 7:1
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (KJV)

Same as above,.

Job 38:13
13 That it might take hold of the ENDS OF THE EARTH, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? (KJV)

Same as above.

(KJV)

Same as above.

Daniel 4:11
11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the ENDS OF ALL THE EARTH: (KJV)

Same as above.

Oh my God, this verse is talking about the then-known world, not the entire world!

The flat Earth is established and can never move?! The Sun hurries back to where it rises?!

The Psalm 104:5 and Ecclesiastes 1:5 verses from the Bible in this section were sent to me by Abdullah Bisyir; may Allah Almighty always be pleased with him.

"Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea. (From the NIV Bible, Job 11:9)"

Okay, rather than acknowledge the rest of them individually, especially since they were copy/pasted from an Islamic website, I'll just post a few links:

[Introduction] [Stretched Heavens and a Firmament] [Earth as "Circle"] ["Ends" of the Earth] [Long/Broad] ["Spread" Earth] [Center of the Earth] [Corners] [Pillars and Foundations] [Not a Globe?] [Height of the Sky] [Conclusion]

Please learn what a metaphor and parable is. People knew the Earth was round long before the Bible was even written.

[QUOTE="Sooshy"][QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]Are they ever going to make the whole Bible into a movie? I think it's time religion modernized in that sense rather than just making their churches look like penthouses.Video_Game_King

Movies are fake and the bible is real. Big difference, bud.

So I guess this is 100% fictitious.

The Bible isn't a documentary. :|

The the dude comparing games to the bible: You're comparing something that has been around for a few decades to something--the bible--that has been around for a million years. Fail.

Where does it prove that the world is flat? How do you know it just isn't interpeted wrong? It wasn't written in English, you know.

The bible has been around for a million years?

The man who wrote the book was a liar then. No, wait, that's completely impossible, right? People don't lie. And people certainly don't lie when writing a book!

So a thousands of year old book that was written with limited information on how the world really is proves that god is real?
