Nevermind that people have known for thousands of years that the world is not flat, and the Bible makes no such claim.
Well, it says the Earth is only 6000 years old. Albeit it does so indirectly (dating Adam and Eve relative to King David), but it still does, and people have acknowledged that for years.

The Bible says that there have been approximately (by the way, these dating methods have been proven flawed, considering that the genealogies between Adam and David do not always mean that a father made a son; sometimes it's great-grandson) 6-20,000 years between the creation of Adam and the birth of David. It doesn't say the Earth itself is young.

Still, the Bible's idea of the Earth's age is very, very far off. This was written by people hundreds of years ago, when they didn't have the resources to find out enough about the world around them to make a wholly accurate theory.

You are looking at it really wrong. The earth doesn't literally have corners, its referring to the cultural centers of humanity. ie, The English Empire had a stretched to the four corners of the earth.
Its not literally shaking the world foundations, that's just a figure of speech. For example, " The offensive use of nuclear weapons shook the foundations of the world." Its not literally shaking the world, its a major event or disaster.
God told a man to write what he says in a book. That's the bible. I don't know about all the mumbo jumbo you're babbling on about.Hmm, let's see: the Old Testament is also referred to as the Torah. Ok, kids, to sum things up.
TC has resorted to the incredibly strong argument often used by Theists that goes something like "it is true because it is in the bible".
Well done, you are ignoring thousands of years of human improvements and taking the word of an old book that was written in less knowledgeable times as absolute truth.

So a thousands of year old book that was written with limited information on how the world really is proves that god is real?
