Especially when places are getting so cold animals are dying (like in maryland) and in the UK? Some people are even experiencing the coldest whether they have had for quite sometime.

Especially since we found out that scientist have been lying to make their theories credible! I still wonder how people believe in this. Anyone else agree?

No. Every single summer in my country has been warmer than the last.

The point is that the average temperature worldwide is going up.

Where's the proof? As far as I'm concerned all the current evidence is untrustworthy as we found out that scientists have been tampering with the data.

It's natural for CO2 to fluctuate, but it shouldn't take a rocket-scientist to figure out that pumping pollutants in to the air isn't a good thing.

No one with any actual information is denying that average global temperatures are rising; the only point of dispute is whether human behavior is significantly responsible.

Uh what? Do you understand what global warming can do to an environment? It can shift certain wind patterns and the like.. Meaning weather in general can become more brutal.. INCLUDING cold weather..

a wise man once said "Everybody Knows That Its All About The Money" believe me go with this saying and youll probably find answers to everything related to man in this world and im not saying that global warming is a myth but what i want to say is temperature has been fluctuating eversince the earth had been created it is not a man made phenomenon actually a few years back there was a decrease in the average worldwide temperature, scientists would like you to believe this, so that you go and buy whatever it is they sell just in order to decrease your carbon footprint, sometimes they even suggest very silly things, im still suprised why they havent told people to : stop breathing (cause breathing releases c02), or stop drinking milk or eating beaf (cause cow fart is one of the main contributers to c02 in the world), or not eat any kind of food (cause no matter how you cook your food c02 will be released in the process), well i guess you got my point....

You'll believe in global warming when your summer lasts one extra month and it almost doesn't snow during the winter.

you kidding? in the middle east its winter yet I still eed the air condition from time to time in the car. its getting less frequent now that it January but in December it was so hot I sweated beads on my way home from school. Also it being colder in the northern parts of the world prove global warming is real, the warm ocean currents that carry warm air across Europ and North America are becomming weaker due to ice caps melting. the cold water is slowly making the currents weaker. eventually Europe and most of north america will be nothing more than a barren piece of frozen rock. Yeah Global warming is going to set off another ice age. Now that's not goingto happen tomorow but it will in the next 50 years (at this rate) hopefully Honda can manage mass producing hydroge fuel cells so that the emissions drop drastically. other than that you can recycle, choose green energy, and plant tres. but make no mistake Globabl Warming is happening.

If you feel like you have a case against it's occurrence, then submit your findings to peer review. You could get published, possibly win a nobel prize, if you're right.

Because the world is mostly calm, so people need something to fear. And it's a great business opportunity. And so many "scientists" have data backing it up. The error date in recording temperatures, is higher than the claimed climate change.

Those quotes have nothing to do with one another. Kennedy was warning about rushing to form an opinion while not thinking of it. Reagan's quote doesn't make sense. Why would you trust without verifying? Secondly over 90% of climatologists agree on the subject, that is an overwhelming majority. The research is there and has not been disproven.

And what about the dust bowl? That was in the 30's. Even if global warming is real, you really can't go by temperature data. The earth's climate is ever-changing.

However it is factual that the earths average temerature is getting higher. It is also factual that GO2 steam and CO are all green house gases that trap heat. Cars release lots of CO2. Back in th 70's and 80's it was a problem- even if cars back then had horrible gas emmision- because there were a lot more trees to recycle the CO2. However today, the earths climate is steadily getting warmer, its not a freak instant that suddenly its mega hot, like it was back in the 30's. it is a steady pace that stared in the 80's and steadily rose. It is due to there being less trees, there being more cars, more people, more houses ad in general more need for energy. Energy is mainly obtained by burning coal. this is everywhere, If anyone has ever ben to the industrial zone of china yo'd know that man is seriously pushing the earth to its limits, I'm talking masive fogs worth of emmisions. you can hardly see in front of you due to the pollution. now you can't say that man has nothing to do with global warming until you truely see a polluted city.

Considering how much the scientific community loves sniffing out each other's BS, I highly doubt they could have organized such an effort. You can disregard the opinion of everyone you've ever talked to, but unless you plan on researching the entire universe on your own, you're going to have to take the word of someone else in your lifetime.

If you feel like you have a case against it's occurrence, then submit your findings to peer review. You could get published, possibly win a nobel prize, if you're right.

Edit: I love my new sig quote.

Trust But Verify, Ronald Reagan. We have not verified. AT ALL.

That's bull **** and you know it. That's all the climatologists people choose to survey. And when was that survey done? Everything changes. And verifying global warming before we dump HUMAN'S jobs down the drain to protect something there's no proof of. That's like saying: "Someone is going to get sick, so we need to spend lots of money on it." And why hasn't government tested it? Gone out into the desert and dumped co2 in the air to see if it's real? Why is there no "hot spot" of warming that is quick to change? It's sun beams that will warm it. Not only that but how does the co2 get in the atmosphere? And what about volcanos? High up and spouting co2 constantly? Why is that area not dangerous? And what about (don't laugh) dinosaur farts? Wouldn't those make more co2 than cows. :P Ok that was kind of a joke but... why doesn't the government question this publicly? How can there be almost no doubt when we're not on fire and there's been no change for the average man?

Because someone said so?

dunl12496

Because there is empirical evidence for it that has not been successfully reputed.

I repute evolution right now right here. Where's the middle? And what about extinction?

You should go make a topic about that then. I enjoy watching bad arguments against evolution getting picked apart and I'm bored right now.

99%?...Ok... So it's the scientists fault for presenting data that you don't understand and because you don't understand it...Means it must be skewed data. I think I got it now...spazzx625

I said that, I merely stated most of us don't know what they are saying is true, we believe them because they bring evidence, but do we truly understand said evidence? That's my point.

Yet 99% of us don't understand the evidence being presented, for all you know the scientific community could have agreed to BS us on certain things.

Considering how much the scientific community loves sniffing out each other's BS, I highly doubt they could have organized such an effort. You can disregard the opinion of everyone you've ever talked to, but unless you plan on researching the entire universe on your own, you're going to have to take the word of someone else in your lifetime.

Well what about christians? There's more proof of God. Jesus was in the roman census. So either he was a scam or he was slipped in there by someone who sinned to prove he's real.
