I don't go too far to impress the opposite sex. If they like me, great. If not, then okay move on.

I like to strut around, cooing, and puffing out my chest while bobbing my head up and down. It works 70% of the time, all the time.

I've finally learned that if you need to try to impress women, youre doing it wrong.

Just be yourself. Yea, yea...I know...I dismissed that advice for a long time as bullcrap, but its true.

But to answer your question, humor helps, and dont be a white knight. Be a gentleman, sure, just don't coddle her. And don't be afraid to give her a little bit of flak on occasion. Its a good equalizer.

I have a dark sense of humor, so I use my natural charm and intelligence. :P

I try to be funny. smart, and willing to listen for long stretches.

I don't impress women. If they don't impress me, never the twain shall meet.

Be real polite. Open doors. Master the art of the 'big slow lazy grin'. Have a sense of purpose in life and not act like a degenerate slob. Listen when they gripe, back out gracefull when it gets interminably dull. I tend to stay away from swearing, or even just talking excessively; my voice has an odd timbre and I tend to drop my t's when I speak.

I don't outright try to 'impress' them - then they just find you mildly amusing or titter to their friends about the awkward geek with the bad pickup lines.

I may be an awkward geek, but I am certainly not accusable of bad pickup lines.

Lots of polyester suits. Make sure the moustache is waxed and the chest hair is on full display and well fluffed. Then, give 'em the old "wink and shoot." Refer to them as "sweet thing" and "hot stuff" to show your appreciation.

Ok, in all honesty, I don't proactively try to impress women, unless the ability to hold a conversation now rates as impressive.Just talk to them, get to know them and learn to appreciate the things that set them apart. If the chemistry is there, awesomeness will ensue.

I just show them a handsome smile. That is all it takes.

Humor. And I try to talk to them about things I know they're interested in.
