[QUOTE="sinarilias"] The Movie itself was great, but I say the reception of the movie is just so biased and ridiculous.
First of all, Most Christians were so against violence and gore shown on TV and media culture, but after seeing this movie full ofprepulsive torture, they say "ITs GREAT. THIS MOVIE SHOULD BE SEEN BY EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY." How sadly ironic is that? On one side, they despise(or they say they do) violence and blood shown. What about this? Not a single critical comment had been made about the bloody content. While this is because the movie is focused on Christ himself and not the bloody content, it's obvious that the reception which was leaned towards The Passion was biased in favor of Christians.
Second, Jews were silent about this movie. While I'm not a Jew, I never can understand how it feels to be depicted as negetive characters in Christian Movies, but simply put: I'd be pissed. However, most of the negative reviews of Jews were all ignorant(which I hardly doubt) or silenced in their voices about the movie. This shows how much America is so publiclyinfluenced by religion when it comes to big issues.
Third, Mel Gibson is a racist.

Wow, that's the biggest load of **** I've read in a long time. Keep it coming pal, becauseyou got EVERYTHING wrong.1. I'm not saying the Passion is bad. The receptions were.
2. Everything I said was said in the news. Find it in Wikipedia or whatever by finding the reception towards Passion. It's been discussed before so it's not total bull.
3, U know why that's the biggest load of crap you've read in a long time? It's because you don't read. Simply put, you're not an active reader.
4. And yes. Mel Gibson is a racist. Everyone knows that.
