[QUOTE="Funky_Llama"][QUOTE="Theokhoth"][QUOTE="Persecuted_1"]You said that you're not confused. I beg to differ.
Theokhoth
I have two degrees studying this stuff. In addition, I'm the Christian, not you. I think I know wee bit more on the Bible than you do.;)
I'm not confused. I sure as hell was, years ago, but not anymore.
Heh... confused you may not be, but you clearly missed the point of that quote. It's quite obvious that by 'the unrighteous', it means those who fall into the categories it goes on to list - and that includes homosexuals.
*sigh*
People who live in their sins are unrighteous.
Did you read what happens after that? RIGHT after that? In the very next verse?
Some of you were like this; but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:11)
Oh, and on whether or not it is homosexuality that is forbidden and not homosexual acts:
Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ? So should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Absolutely not! (Corinthians 6:15)
Heh.
Hah, I hadn't seen that other verse before. "And this is what some of you were." In other words... people who used to be homosexual, but are no longer.
