Oh...sure, go ahead. I thought you were gonna say you wanna go there because you thought all the cars would be uber sports cars, all drifting through the city.KikoukenFalse. They drift during the night, and they drive these cars... 8) :| 8)

I wouldn't mind driving one of those things in my city. It wouldn't be very lady-like, but it sure would cause some nosebleeds to the Japanophiles that used to go to my school.

ok, a modified Honda with anime (risque too) plastered all over it. How much more [modern] Japanese can you get. I have to go there one day just to experience it
Tokyo/Japan is nothing like what you see in Tokyo Drift. If you want a detailed and realistic view of Japan then I strongly suggest you watch All About Lily Chou-Chou and Bounce Ko Gals. I also recommend you read some of Haruki Murakami's books.
It's far from how you picture it....and there's a reason why Japan has one of the highest suicide rates in the world.

don't believe everything you see in movies :P
the culture there is pretty different though.
Chicks and cars aside, there are many excellant reasons to move to Japan. I'm sure people can come up with negative things to say, no nation is perfect. But Japanese society is definitely more respectful, civilized and hard-working than most Americans. I would move to Japan ina heartbeat if I could afford it.

I couldnt imagine living there for the rest of my life, but I would definitely try it out for as long as I can.
You are right. They are a lot more respectful. People there bow when they greet each other and they are extremely polite.

Have you ever been there? They're extremely racist and xenophobic, don't expect to be treated as if you yourself were japanese but if you can look past these flaws...then by all means, go for it.
