There's no videos of the IDF raping women and torturing babies...it's absolutely malarkey. On the other hand there *are* videos of the other side chopping people's freaking heads off...hell they video tape it themselves and scream in joy as they do it.

[QUOTE="LastRambo341"][QUOTE="themajormayor"] Show me one of those videos. I'm sure I've seen alot more than you. You know I have access to youtube too don't you? Also I live in the area of the world with probably the LEAST censoring.

themajormayor

I got moderated/suspended in the past and I'm not gonna do it again Like I said, just search simple stuff such as "israeli killing children" etc. stuff like that

Typical. You come here and throw around all sorts of accusations and when you're ask to provide evidence you're suddenly making stupid excuses. Well I am not surprised.

I'll get censored and moderated -_- so theres no point. I don't wanna get banned. Denial

Oh good the great minds of OT have culled youtube videos that are inline with their bias and have solved all the world's problems. Seriously people.....you are intelligent enough to know that videos uploaded on youtube are done so to present the bias of the uploader....right? Perhaps not it seems. Shame that.

So because Israeli soldiers are allegedly "inhumane" it's ok for Hamas to torture people. That's what you're saying?

great maybe they are, but if you want peace... that doesnt mean israeli military just takes over the whole goddamn place.

the point is israelies dont want peace, they want domination.

No they're not -_- I was just using Lastrambo's twisted logic. You clearly know nothing of this situation. I won't even make a counterargument since their is no argument in the first place. So I'm gonna ask you to elaborate on your statement.

good point, israel isnt using their military dominance to keep settling new territory in the west bank.

Thats doesnt happen at all.

No they've given up more and more territory. But even if they did what's your point? With Paelstinians doing all the can to avoid negotiations there is really no point to give up territory (which they do anyway)

The only territory they conquered was was as a result of a war, a war started by 3 arab countries against them. You don't seem to know much about the history here. The "conquering" happened long before the peace talks we're talking about.

in the last 50 years, Israel has lost land, it gave the Sinai back to Egypt, and the Sinai is bigger than Israel itself. though even then , I find it funny when people talk about what land Israel has or gains, the Arabs attacked, they lost the war of 48 , and lost land with it, let it be a lesson to others. that said I would be willing to set up a Palestinian state more or less along the 67 lines, provided there are no rockets , no bombs , etc

Meanwhile rockets fly into Israel during these negotiations. I don't think there's a country on Earth that has put up with more than Israel. Anyways I don't think the borders can ever go back to the original treaty, it doesn't leave either country in a safe and defensible position. The arabs screwed up when they tried wipe Israel from the map, and now they will never get back what they had then. BTW, why no ire towards Jordan and Egypt? Let me ask a question to all those criticizing Israel...had they lost the 1967 war how do you think they would have been treated? Would Israel have any land? Would their citizens be allowed into those countries and become citizens and even participate in the host countries government?

If Israel attacked Iran, they would be doing so alone. The USA has been working all of its politics to keep Israel from doing such a thing. We wouldn't intervene nor help them in any way. If their attack results in them getting their asses beat, so be it.

People tend to forget that Israel has always been the first country to make attempts towards peace. War was declared on it at its inception and after the Six Day War it offered to return all conquered territories in exchange for peace agreements. Unfortunately the Arab world has always waited for more wars or violence before reciprocating.

Because the Arab countries don't want peace...and they never have. From Israel's inception every effort has been towards the total destruction of Israel and the removal of all Jews from the land. History shows this time and again.

which is why average Joe in Israel does not think there will ever be peace, because even the Palestinians will get a country more or less along the 67 lines, most people in Israel believe they will simply wait a bit before they either become another Gaza, start attacking again , or try to get more land because "the last agreement wasn't quite fair" and then people wonder why the right is so powerful in Israel.

[QUOTE="themajormayor"] You're making it sound like a bad thing that. btw how about the past 40 years?themajormayor

IT IS a bad thing, because peace talks dont work when you are conquering territory.

The only territory they conquered was was as a result of a war, a war started by 3 arab countries against them. You don't seem to know much about the history here. The "conquering" happened long before the peace talks we're talking about.

no, israeli forces are still taking territory today.

either way whats your point? pull all foreign aid to israel and see what they can do on their own?

im all for that..

If Israel attacked Iran, they would be doing so alone. The USA has been working all of its politics to keep Israel from doing such a thing. We wouldn't intervene nor help them in any way. If their attack results in them getting their asses beat, so be it.

Wasdie

You'll thank them later. Just as with Iraq and Syria. Hypocrites

Aww isn't this cute. Making assumptions and then calling us hypocrites because of your assumption.

Every try not speaking out of your ass?

Just want to point out Wasdie that your post was assumptions as well.

People tend to forget that Israel has always been the first country to make attempts towards peace. War was declared on it at its inception and after the Six Day War it offered to return all conquered territories in exchange for peace agreements. Unfortunately the Arab world has always waited for more wars or violence before reciprocating.

Renevent42

Because the Arab countries don't want peace...and they never have. From Israel's inception every effort has been towards the total destruction of Israel and the removal of all Jews from the land. History shows this time and again.

No, Arabs want the Palestinians to have their land back. Israel should get off other people's territories, otherwise, expect a backlash

I would say that hypocrisy is not the right word. Realism is more appropriate. The west has significant interests in the Shia muslim world as well as the Sunni region. Any attack on Iran by Israel would of course draw anger from the Arab world and the USA would go along as it makes sense strategically. I dont begrudge them that, however I do think the west would breathe a collective sigh of releif if Israel were to destroy the Iranian nuclear threat (although at this stage I am sceptical as to whether that is an achievable goal).

If you're not willing to research then don't argue in the first place

LastRambo341

So I should do research to back up YOUR statements? Sounds legit

So you want me to post so then it gets censored then I get probably banned? Sounds legit

Is it links to hate speech? No? Then it's allowed. Since you said you didn't hate Jews you don't look at websites like that right ? ;) In any case I don't care what you do but you're looking very ridiculous right now when you can't provide any evidence of any sort.

Im all for that, the 3 billion a year Israel gets doesn't help it, its about 2-3% of the total government budget , so its frankly not needed. at the same time, the US is using that as a leverage to try and stop Israel from selling weapons technology to the Chinese and Indians (and it did block them a few times before). it will also take away the excuse of "we fund Israel" that alot Americans seem to like using, although Im sure some will just invent another one instead.

No they're not. Since 67 they have pretty much only ceded control of territory. What are you talking about now?

They want Israel to do their dirty work and then have someone as scapegoat. That's what I mean

depends by what you mean is "their land" , according to the UN , the west bank is theirs (despite the fact they have never ruled it , either in modern or ancient times), but according to Hamas, Tel Aviv is theirs, so the "throw the Jews into the sea" thing is quite correct regarding the views of at least some Arabs.

But I'm not calling anybody hypocrites because of it.

It's one thing to guess, it's another thing to derive baseless insults from your guess.

Glad you at least admit something here...and that is this has nothing to do with peace and simply Arabs trying to destroy Israel.

With that said, it's not their land...the British held it prior and the land was split. Israel would have gone on peacefully just fine with the original land split...but even that was unacceptable. No, a single Jew in the area, much less an entire country of them is a black eye to the surrounding nations. Since that time every effort has been made to destroy them.

If people like YOU got your way, if would have been nothing less than genocide. Thankfully ignorance such as yours does not prevail, and because of that Israel still stands today.
