The Arabs never had any interest in helping the Palestinians, if they had they would not have destroyed any chance of creating a state in 1948 by invading the area and conquering the territories along their borders. Even today they are quite content to use the palestinians as a tool with which to act against Israel. It is as cynical a ploy as you can hope to find.

Actually Saudi Arabia sees Iran as its major rival for influence in the region which is intensified by a Sunni-Shia split. As with most countries they would no doubt condemn any actions by Israel but more than any others they would be greatful for the action. Also as the major Arab power they probably would not lead the region into a war over this, the main confrontation will be simply Israel- Iran if it spills out into open warfare.

I'd rather not see another war. If Israel wants to attack Iran, then that's their business. The US should not get involved unless it is in trying to stop a conflict by peaceful means.
