Seems just. I wonder how they define trolling in a legal sense.

that is bull, freedom of speech, UK has none it seems weezyfbIt's not freedom of speech. It's harassment and abuse.
he deserves more i mean i enjoy trolling but going on dead peoples memorial things thats wrong.especially on dead teens
Damn that's low, don't make fun of dead people unless they're were crazy like Micheal Jackson...FightingfanBecause making fun of the dead is justified if they had mental disorders. Anyway, there is a limit to this man, trolling is ok if it's in jest and about something trivial, but this is beyond messed up.
I hope Internet thugs will get a least 1 year in jail. There is so much hate, verbal aggression and cyberbullying going on Internet forums and on blogs and other private websites. Internet forums have become **** places to be in.
It's a shot across the bow for TDH!xaosI lulled when the article writer threw out the alcoholic Aspergers comment.
Man, I had no idea the current generation was so delicate :(I hope Internet thugs will get a least 1 year in jail. There is so much hate, verbal aggressionand cyberbullying going on Internet forums. Internet forums has become a **** places to be in.

Well hopefully he learns his lesson. I enjoy a clever troll every now and then, there's a fine line between trolling and just being a prick though.

... And that is why you never fail to use proxies. Can't say I disagree with that....free speech ends when you endanger others and he apparently did.LJS9502_basichow did he endager them?? He trolled them but how did he endager them?
That's surprising - though the thing is that there are still millions of trolls worldwide and this is definitely going to happen again and again and again...
Just jailing one troll isn't enough for there are still a million more doing the same thing.
Not sure whether I should take this news seriously in an apathetic fashion or feel ridiculed since he got jailed for abusive language in the net.
If that's the case , they might as well do a sweep and jail every troll on the net :o
I'm glad I'm not the only one... phewSomething about that there look on his face reminds me of Rawsavon.

I don't think he should have gotten any time. Honestly, what's next? You tell someone that they don't look good in that shirt and they have you arrested for emotional distress? Sure, it was in poor taste, but did he have to go to jail? There's the whole "one girl tried to commit suicide over it" argument, but that was from being wrongfully accused by others. "Yesterday one of his victim's parents hit out at Facebook, calling on the website to do more to tackle the problem after it emerged that one girl wrongly accused by others of posting the messages had attempted suicide." The question is, was it 'his' fault, or the fault of others piss poor judgement?

I don't know what he posted but it's not below these people to post gore and porn so I can see how it could cause further emotional distress to someone in that situation.
