Is it just me or do people just blindly hate Muslims like they are Nazis?

Well been posting over here regularly for over a year now and I have seen lots of things being said about muslims "THEY SLAUGHTER ANIMALS FOR FUN","THEY ARE ALL POOR AND MALNURISHED" and the latest being "THEY MOLEST YOUNG BOYS IN AFGHANISTAN".So my question is it normal for americans to hate muslims cause makes them feel cool and they are contributing to society?Do people really believe that because Al-qaeda used the wrong interpretations of quran for their own goals that the entire muslim community is to be blamed and alienated?Please enlighten me.

I don't know what Conistant is talking about, but Muslims I know lots of Muslims who emigrate here because they want a better opportunity and love the freedom that the US grants them. They don't hate the US at all.

TC i think one of the major problems occurs when people totally forget that the US created most of their enemies. Take the radical muslim population. During the Cold War the US was pretty much the greatest bully possible, forcing in their own leaders into countries left and right. In Iran, the US forces in a leader that suddenly pushes forward westernization in the country,going against traditional values and is generally hated until he is forced to flee during the Iranian Revolution with the new leadership in the country blaming the US.

Another example is the US actually hiring Osama Binladen and several other future leaders of terrorist organizations to fight in proxy wars and then just leaving weapons lying around for those extremenists to use later against the US. These groups just happen to usereligion to convince others to fight on their side and tada, we have modern dayterrorist bombings through Guerrilla warfare (since no other form really works against the US).Does the general muslim population hate the US? No...but they prob do have a right to considering the problems we caused during our own skirmishes with the soviet union.

while some Americans and Europeans hate Muslims for not good reason it must be admitted that there are extremists on the Islamic side who have an unreasonable hate for all things Christian:wink:
