[QUOTE="p2250"] I have, and that's my main problem. It's almost impossible to reconcile what I read with the general, apathetic attitude of "Dude Islam is a religion of peace, stop ur hatin'"rcafan
Exactly, the Quran advocates a lot of violence and promotes it to a certain extent, why else would extremists emerge? If it was truly a peaceful text, there would be no extremists. Besides can you honestly think that it would be peaceful? Muhammad was Military Leader and somewhat of a conqueror, who supposedly recieved visions, I don't believe he would be the kind of man to write a book of peace. The MiddleEast at that time was full of war and conflict, I mean look at the Crusades which happened later. Both Religions showed their fury.
all bibiles do what the diffrence? and there plenty of hate already here in hte usa for no other reason to do the majoirty of the corwd does. if this was truely peaceful why does a chritsitan want to burn a book danger many people lives for no good reason he not hleping us. yuo never read the book of the quran at all either did he,.
he goesa by the bible. not what its really in there. so who is the one killed jeus? reallly people.... are you this ingroant?
I am sorry, edit your message the grammar is too bad, couldn't understand half of it. Um, Jesus was the most peaceful man on the planet and he died for all our sins, including the sin that caused people to want to kill him in the first place. No I have not read the quran, I have watched documentaries about it though, and it is far from peaceful. The Bible is truly peaceful, read through its pages, and you will feel it. Look at how angry and murderous muslims get over silly cartoons or southpark? How is that peaceful, again I am not saying all, but some.
I have a feeling someone is going to try and mod me, so, let me say I am not trying to insult, flame, or troll, I am saying some not all, and this is just my opinion.
