well i can see on game spot that mostly everybody likes rock and rap is kinda just left out in the ghettos. I think that rap will last 3 years and then we will still have rap but it will be small and fade. Dirty south ruined it!

Rap won't die. It might get less popular, but it won't die.

I agree, Down South rap is destroying rap music. As soon as I heard Juvenille's first single I knew rap was going dowhill. East Coast rap music is my favorite, but that's becoming very unpopular. Record sales in rap music have been going down as well. If it's going to become mostly southern rap music...then let it die.

I don't think it will ever die. It's probably the most popular music today... Love it and always will.

The south makes some of the best rap music, at least for me. Lil' Wayne is the greatest to ever live and then Three 6 Mafia, Lil' Jon, Nappy Roots and such are amazing. And I don't care what you guys say, 50 Cent and Mike Jones rock.

I personally don't like rap, but I respect the rap artists that send good messages out there to those that like that style of music. I don't think it will die. Rap has just gotten too mainstream.

Ludacris is from the south and he's one of the more talented if not most talented Southern rapper there is. All long as he keeps making music, it'll keep all of the crappy south rappers from destroying mainstream rap completely.

You can't say rap will die because it wont, its not good to dislike music you dont know about. Seriously, im not a rap person myself but if i dont like some songs that doesnt mean i dont like it in general. And to say southern rap is killing the indrustry is a pretty harsh statement, especialy since thats your opinion and different people have different tastes.

The whole public enemy thing was cool when NwA did it. I thought Easy E was pretty cool. But, why are rappers still trying to pull that act? It's not original or new at this point. It's old and tired and progresses horrible stereotypes. So, until rappers (for the most part) change their focus it will get less and less popular...hopefully

Huh? the problem with rap is that they went from "fight the power" and "black rights" to guns, money, hoes..... so its the other way around...

so your saying that white people dont live in the ghettos nice one RACISM. You clearly just said that you said blacks live in the ghetto and whites buy it too so they dont live there to?
