Because planning an attack that kills your own people, covering it up, and then blaming it on others to start an unpopular war tends to be a career killer.

There's absolutely no reason why they would want to. The massive undertaking to pull this off, keep the massive amount of people required quiet, cover up the vidence, plus the incredible retribution they would face if it ever leaked is far more substantial than any meager profits they'd make by starting a war in the Middle East. There are so many easier, safer methods to make money or influence politics.

Besides, even supposing they had pulled this off, why do they let these conspiracies float around? If the government has no problem killing several buildings of irrelevant citizens, why do they not target the guys making documentaries that pose an actual threat to their plans? Considering the massive resources they supposedly have, they should have no problem taking out some nobodies and covering up any evidence they have.

What's funny about that video you posted is that from the experts' responses about the twin towers, make Tower 7's collapse even more suspicious. What adds up for the Twin Towers doesn't seem to apply at all to Tower 7. They say the fires have to be a certain temperature to burn through the steel core. That the twin towers became unstable because of the initial impact wiping off all the fire proofing which made these lower temperature fires burn through the steel. Ok so what about the fire proofing in tower 7? Is this telling me Tower 7's fires burned hotter than the twin towers?Mystic-G

Not to mention, you'd have no way of knowing if the public would believe them or not. Why not use a fraction of the massive resources you have to nip this in the bud?

9/11 was not an inside job, the conspiracies are just rediculous.

I believe it could have been a false flag operation, like Operation Northwoods.There are some things that just don't quite add up in the "Official" story.

1) It would of taken years to do that. Also think of Watergate, if the goverment can't keep that thing from going public how could they prevent setting the charged from going public.

Throw evidence towards a conspiracy theorist they always will say something along the lines that it is both a lie and a government coverup. in this case, the history channel and all of the people who saw it were just part of it. I'd rather pay my respects to the people who died and to the people who died trying to save them than listen to something based off paranoia.
