So let me get this straight. In one year (if the next episode is correct) , Jesse has:
- Got the **** kicked out of him 3 times.
- Became homeless.
- Lost a loved one.
- Unloved by his parents.
- Almost got killed a total of 5 times.
- Did Crystal Meth/Heroin.
- Almost got a kid killed.
- Indirectly caused a plane crash.
- Partnered with a now meth-dealing murderer.
- And killed 2 men, 1 innocent.
Any other person would be in a psychiatric hospital by now.

Yeah... Jesse has gone through a LOT in a very short period of time. I mean, so has Walt, but they are very different people who react to all of this in very different ways. Walt really thrives on all of this now, whereas Jesse doesn't.
Jesse isn't perfect, but I really do feel for him. As interesting as it is to watch Walt's metamorphosis, it's equally interesting (to me) to watch how Jesse has changed. I wouldn't be surprised if he has PTSD.
Speaking of which, its interesting to see how Jesse (numerous times) really doesn't care about the money. It seems to me that at this point Jesse is more mature than he was in the beginning of the show, and the only reason he seems to continue to cook meth is that he feels loyal to Walt. Or like he said in Season 3, it' the only thing he's good at. Doesn't help counter that thought when you have a partner pratically exclaiming to you how stupid and useless you are.And I love how Jesse doesn't want innocent people to get hurt (kids , people, drug dealers), which is COMPLETELY contradictory to Walt's views. That's probrably why Jesse was shocked at the end of Sunday's episode. He never expected Mr.White to contemplate killing Mike, or even Jesse himself, for adding a valid point.
