People often confuse arrogance for confidence.  Sure the guy has said some blunt stuff, but I don't really know him well enough to judge his personality.  Not that this thread has anything to do with that anyway.

We aren't talking about Kanye's rapping ability.  His production is why he has lasted so long in the industry.  Not to mention the guy has yet to put out a bad album.  

I do think Kanye West will be remember years from now, hell yeah.  How people can you name that have lasted 15+ years in the music industry, won 21 grammys and sold hundreds of millions of albums world wide?

And yes, Kanye has an ego and everything, but why is it he gets attacked on this site, but someone like Axl Rose gets a free pass?... Musicians can be awful people. To quote a line from Amadeus, "[Mozart] am a vulgar man! But I assure you, my music is not."

It's because no one is making topics about Axl Rose and no one is going around trying to call Axl great...

I disagree Kanye is overrated I think most of his music is rubbish to be honest Will.I.Am is better.  Will.i.am comes across as a decent person on The Voice UK as well while I can imagine Kayne being a douche.
