Looks, to me atleast woman on average is antithetical to personality. Be sure to get prenup and when the woman loses her appeal, fertility, or what else you desire leave her. Do not let yourselfbe whipped.

From personal experience it has to be both. I look good(for the purpose of this thread I will say well above avarage) and I know I'm not that interesting, my personality and communication skills with strangers is below avarage, and I can tell that people figure that out about me pretty quick. So I can definitely say that looks only get you so far. If only my personality matched my looks...

Bad past experience? Anyway I'd put personality first considering the options you gave as a a good personality is going to make me find her more physically attractive and not so much the other way round. Also if she has a good personality then I'd want to spend more time with her and a moderately attractive girl standing next to you is far more attractive then a really hot girl who's decided to go out shopping.

What if a decent personality means they punt kittens and yell at you for no good reason?

I'm more of a dog person myself heh. If a girl abused animals and yelled at me for no good reason, I'd say she had serious anger issues. So, I think its safe to say she would be unstable. Maybe just a one nighter... no I couldn't. Those poor innocent kittens.

Why not a one night stand, if she's ****ing you she can't be punting kittens unless she's an incredible multi-tasker.

You need to be physically attracted to a person but in the long run if you don't get on with their personality then a relationship won't last long.

Depends. I'd say personality but only if the other person has good hygiene, eats healthy, and gets regular exercise.

At my age, personallity (assuming she still looks at least decent). It doesn't matter how good looking she is if she makes me want to jump out a window. I melt much faster for a sweetheart that wants to take care of me than just a pretty face. :P

And i'll say personality based on the fact that it seems girls i find very attractive aren't that attractive to a lot of men. So i guess its a win-win for me.

Its impossible to really say. Both have to be there.

Id say if your just looking for a girlfriend, then looks would be paramount. But if your looking for some serious long term thing, then personality might be more important
