But, it's hard to be pro-muslim when all you see (and no, this has nothing to do with the media, this is everyday life) Muslims and all they are doing is showing disrespect for the adoptive nation. I know it's not all Muslims, obviously, but when the only Muslims you see are doing this... it's hard to to think a certain way.

Plus, evben outside of this city... You look at France/Paris, and the middle east, and Nothern China, and Indonesia, and East Timor and Africa and the Balkins and you see all this war and fighting because of Muslims. =/

Granted, there have been Muslims that have already spoken out against this--which is good--but it didn't stop, or solve the problem.

It's a bit complicated. It's a multicultural thing. Part of it is racial differences, and part of it is religion. MY biggest example is the Lebanese here. the Christian ones for the most part are just fine. But then you see the Muslim ones and they're running around thinking they're being prosicuted and singled out and all that junk--then you turn back to the Christian ones and they're just like everyone else. then this carries over to other Muslim youth, which spills over to other middle eastern races and it just becomes a big mess.

have you ever thought that maybe they are being persecuted? you have no idea the kind of racism Muslims face because of a small group of extremists in the religion, as proof in this topic. I myself have faced lots of racism for being middle eastern, even though I am Christian, just because of people's ignorance.
